  1. Do you have the two year 1 expansions, osiris and Warmind? If not, wait until after the 16th, as from then on they'll be included in forsaken's price. As for whether it's worth it, the campaign was really very good, and there's a ton of content. Lots of secrets and small quests to go on. Leveling up is a grind though, so that could be a positive or negative depending on how you feel. There's always something to do that will give you a meaningful reward, which is a huge improvement over year 1 where you did three milestones per week and you were finished.
  2. Classic asscreed. I spent a lot of time playing this on the weekend, didn't progress the story at all, just travelled around clearing out forts and picking up side missions. There are some really cool looking areas in this game - I was worried it wouldn't live up to the awesome Egypt setting, but so far so good.
  3. There's a purification quest that involves shattered throne? I thought it was just the strike, ascendant challenge and blind well.
  4. To be honest, I really fell in love with origins when it started getting real weird. Swords that light shit on fire, battles against giant gods, the entire second DLC. It was a fine game when it was cleopatra sending us on missions and stealthing around bases, but when the game let loose with the strange stuff it was a blast.
  5. Let me know if it works, but I don't think it will. I think they made these pieces permanent so you can't keep claiming them over and over, selling them for cash or dismantling for materials. On another note, I chose Kassandra and I'm really liking her character. It's early, but she might be my new favourite assassin. I wonder how different the male character is - same personality / lines but as a male, or is he his own character?
  6. Sure, but it's blue-rarity gear, and nothing special. I'm going to save my upgrading for the good gear. This stuff is just a little early game boost, it's fine, but having to carry it around the rest of the game is not worth it. By the time you're level 6, it's like you're walking around town and you just finished a coffee, but you can't find a garbage can anywhere to ditch the cup, so you're just stuck carrying this trash around.
  7. Got off the first island, really loving it now. There's a big emphasis on ships again, like a spartan themed Black Flag. Got a tip for people just starting - do not buy the weapons and armor from the Ubisoft club rewards store. They can't be deleted or hidden, so this shitty level 5 gear is stuck in my inventory for the rest of the game, or until ubi adds some way to hide/remove them. Using these items for the 40-60 minutes that I was level 5 was not worth it.
  8. I'm liking it a lot. When you get a quest, you get rpg-style conversation choices, including asking where your target is. They respond fairly descriptively, saying things like "you'll find his hideout on the west coast of the island" but without just dropping a glowing "Go Here" beacon on the screen. So off you go, heading west through uncharted territory with just an idea of where to go. It's great. There's still markers for new sidequests and where an original quest giver was, in case you forget after holding a mission for a long time without doing it, and the HUD is still pretty cluttered, but also fully customizable. I'm going to start turning some elements off soon once I figure out what is essential.
  9. Bought it. Feels good to be back in assassin's creed. It definitely feels exactly like origins, so if you're burnt out on that, maybe give it a pass. If you loved it and wanted more, this is great.
  10. Nope, they've just removed the locks. If you made an account specifically to play on Switch, like I did, then you have to log in to epics website with that secondary account and deactivate the Nintendo switch. Then next time you run the game on Switch you can log in with your ps4 account. It was easy.
  11. Yeah @eggydoo I feel you - I was hoping to get the raid under my belt a little sooner so I could do some other things. Red dead and fortnite season 6 are gonna eat up a bunch of time, and then I'm really itching to play the newest asscreed, tomb raider and Spiderman. But forsaken just keeps delivering more and more fun stuff to do, can't keep up.
  12. And mobile, and pc. All of them. Logged in on my switch and all my skins and progress from ps4 was there. That's all I wanted!
  13. Very happy with this. I honestly thought Sony had just suffered through the shitstorm and wouldn't capitulate. Hopefully this expands across the service, not just fortnite.
  14. I looked it up. We made the right decision to leave, we hadn't seen either of the two boss fights yet. A third person and ten-fifteen more light levels and we'd be good.
  15. That graph is crazy. After walking dead and tales from the borderlands I just assumed it was all success for them given all the new licenses they announced.
