General Gaming SFV - G and Sagat Out Today!
mo1518 replied to Keyser_Soze's topic in The Spawn Point
Really liking Sagat - his attacks feel powerful and weighty. Might try to get good with him. As a nice touch they added him in to his normal slot in the SF2 arcade mode. G is pretty cool too. Interesting touch with the charge mechanic.- 5 replies

Easiest way to get legendary gear is turning in tokens to the vendors. Guaranteed one or two legendaries. Infusing let's you put a blue, purple or exotic into another gun to raise its power level. That auto rifle you like isn't useless - if you get a more powerful auto rifle you can infuse it into the one you like to bring it up to your current power. If you don't like crucible, don't play it. There's one gun from that loot pool that is truly worth it, and that's Better Devils. Everything else is mediocre. Really, when you're just powering up it's really about just playing the game. Finish the campaigns, collect a set of guns you like, trash/infuse the ones you don't, do the milestones for power increases.

I'm finally going to play hellblade senua's sacrifice. Been sitting on my hard drive for months!

What system? You do need to bring your light level up a bit if you want to raid or do heroic strikes. And if you feel worried you'll just be in the way, maybe watch some walkthrough videos on the raids to familiarize yourself with the mechanics, it really helps to visualize all the steps in these sometimes confusing fights. No one has a problem raiding with a newbie, but raiding with someone who's not willing to learn and just wants a carry is a different story. You sound more like the former than the latter, so get yourself closer to 300 and I'd be happy to run you through leviathan if you're on PS4.

Hell yes. I rage quit on 1AU solo. It was a breeze with Joe and Anzo. I read today that for the redux missions, you only have to wear the armor piece that requires the mission to get credit. So if your boots need Chosen or whatever, you can wear your regular gear and an exotic for the other pieces and you'll be stronger, but the catch is you won't generate any orbs.

350 will be fine, especially with two people using whisper. Do you have polaris lance yet? That's a great gun for the quest. And I am down to raid with you for sure. We'll rally the troops! This solstice event couldn't come at a better time. Broke my toe on the weekend, gonna be on the couch a whole bunch over the next couple weeks

Welcome to destiny 2. Heroics with randoms is the nightmare landscape people envisioned if they opened up nightfalls to matchmaking. The modifiers have been toned down a bit last patch, thankfully, but I can't run them without clan mates anymore. It's nice to have challenging content, but the bulk of the challenge shouldn't be down to whether your randos are drooling simpletons or not

Ran the quest with an LFG group, made it to the final boss room. Man, you want to get there with a lot of time remaining and coordinate supers / elements. The orange bars will fuck you up, need to team shoot and shotgun rush. Really can't fuck around in the jumping puzzle. My two randoms weren't using a mic, there wasn't a single revive from them and we cleared the first two rooms before one of them even made it through the jumping, so we didn't stand a chance. Definitely want two good partners for this. Ideal group is probably arcstrider, tether, hammer.

I'm heading out with friends tonight, maybe I'll see you online over the weekend.
