Argentina Elects Javier Milei in Victory for Far Right - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM Argentina’s next president is a libertarian economist whose brash style and embrace of conspiracy theories has parallels with Donald J. Trump. Several videos on my youtube feed have popped up recently which detailed how much of Argentina's potential has been effectively squandered over the last century. After being controlled by mostly Peronists or those who closely aligned with that ideology for 70 years, it will be interesting to see if Milei will have any success turning the country around. (edited the title to be more accurate)

Colombia to Sterilize Pablo Escobar’s ‘Cocaine Hippos’ - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM The drug kingpin brought four hippos to his estate in the 1980s. Officials estimate that about 170 now roam Colombia, and say the population must be controlled to protect the country’s ecosystem. Colombia should sell hunting licenses to big game hunters to go and wipe these out. They are an invasive species that pose a serious risk for not only the habitat, but also the people who live there. The proceeds can be used to help build or maintain schools or infrastructure. Unlike other invasive species, like the Cane Toad in Australia, humans could actually eradicate hippos in Colombia because they don't reproduce rapidly or have hundreds of offspring, and they are gigantic, so they are fairly easy to find and neutralize.

I don't see why Willis couldn't schedule hers at the same time. If the Florida trial actually gets started at the scheduled date, then Willis can postpone hers until later in the year. This isn't rocket science, and as far as I understand it, there is no law ore regulation that prevents having a state trial happen before a federal trial. It sounds like it's more of a matter of professional discretion to yield for federal trials.

I think it would be interesting to see the development of anti-drone laser systems. Most of the FPV drones being used in the war are visible on radar and infrared I would imagine. A device that constantly scans the sky above a formation of troops should be able to target non-friendly drones with a sufficiently powerful laser to either destroy it outright or blind its sensors to the point where it would be unable to complete its mission. This device probably wouldn't be useful against ballistic missiles or lancet drones, however.

Jews wouldn't even be considered allies to these types of Christians. Jews are simply the vehicle into which the end of times occurs. Since the Jews are all non-believers, they either are left here on earth after the rapture, or are killed an go to hell, along with everyone else who didn't make the cut into heaven with the true believers.

Bombing Gaza city, at least to the level Israel is doing, I think was the wrong choice. The only way to really fight this war was (and is) to send boots on the ground in to the area. Israel is probably going to end up losing thousands of their soldiers in the prolonged ground assault, but it will probably be the most effective and moral method of neutralizing Hamas.
