This game will be AMAZING. It’s priced at $40. They’ve managed to maintain a HUGE majority of the soundtrack (which is crucial). gameplay looks good. Graphics looks good. 2 of the best skate board games ever made. Easy budget pickup. Day. One.

So far... for 2020 releases. This is far and away my GOTY. It’s hardly even close

I just remembered I’ve got like 7 or 8 technique points I’ve not used. Been “saving” them. But it’s time to use em. I’ve been getting charms and cool gear and not thought about techniques

I’ve now put 15 hours in. Have yet to tick that last mark to complete act 1 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Guess I just want to see games that are optimized for “somewhat” modern hardware. My PC is aging. But my PC can STILL run laps around the base model consoles. Even on just an i5 CPU and GTX 1070. It will absolutely destroy the same game at far higher res and FPS when compared to base consoles. I am ready to see games actually designed and made on “base” hardware that can top my PC it’s the main reason I’ve not upgraded yet. But now with ray tracing and other things, it’s making me want to put in a new CPU/GPU. But until the base games are used for said hardware, it’s a waste of money.

To be fair. I maybe average buying 1 game every 2-3 months unless there’s a DEEP SALE. Then it’s backlogged anyhow.

Meh. Just stop the games (no pun intended) and announce prices and release dates. Coronavirus won’t stop people from buying stuff. Heck, didn’t Apple have one of their most profitable quarters? Along with many others. This gen does need to happen. The hardware we have as base machines are embarrassing. People will buy. They will move units. But, this whole “in the dark” shit 3 months out is asinine. By this point, they already know what games will make launch. Prices. Etc Just tell the public. Put up pre-orders. Let’s go.

I’m only guessing. But I’ve played approximately 10 hours and I’m STILL on Act 1 why? I am engaged in side quests. Getting charms. This game is addicting.

This game is shockingly good. I’m seriously enjoying every second of it. Critics scores, while good, were underrating this game. The only minor complaint is sometimes the camera can be wonky. But not a huge deal. I’m on my first “boss” fight and getting my ass handed to be over and over. It won’t let me use any arrows or knives etc in the fight. So it’s all on skill and parry ability. Which I’m not the greatest at. But I’ll get him. The game taunts me with “try it on easy mode” after each death. But NEVER!!

Guess it’s dumb in the first place to want to spend money on a pro, when I’ve used my OG PS4 since launch, with 0 issues. Also, I’ll absolutely be purchasing a PS5.

That’s apples to oranges really if you plan on using the 65” as a home TV also, than obviously that’ll be better than a 27” monitor. If you have 0 plans to watch tv or steaming movies, go with the monitor. Simple

I am absolutely loving this game so far. Much more than TLOU2 (not saying it’s a bad game) But this is good old fashion fun. Slicing and dicing while running around on rooftops. Oh yea. I’m maybe 5+ hours in and had been getting my ass handed to me in combat. Until I learned to parry. It’s less forgiving. You’ve got to be spot on. I still get the occasional ass whipping. But it’s easier now that I can roll and parry. I absolutely messed up and didn’t talk to the merchant in the start. Hence no travelers armor. So, tonight I’ll nip back to get it. Then off to gather a couple charms. After that.... I’ll get up with ishikawa and see his Tale.

I ask because everyone on Facebook and EBay wants full MSRP. $400. Ummm. No. If I wanted to pay MSRP. I’d buy it new. We’re 4 months from a new gen. It’s dumb to want a pro. My regular PS4 is fine. But I have a 4K tv and wanted to see what it’s like is all

Any tips for getting the charm lol I’m only a couple hours in. Heard about that charm online though. It’s near the bottom of the map I assume, hop a horse and ride eh? No quick ways to make it I guess

To be honest, I never got into Sly and infamous. Played them. Heck, not even sure why I never got into them. As while I played, I enjoyed myself. The PS3 infamous was far better than PS4 IMO. But this game seems like fun and I’m willing to give it a go

Same. As for the voice. I like to be able to understand what they say without subtitles. Video game character lip syncing has 99.9% always been junk. Doesn’t bother me

Maybe it’s just me. But there’s a 0.00% chance I’d play this way on my first run. If the game is good enough for a 2nd or 3rd run. It’s a hard maybe. Probably would tire of it quickly

Eh. Went ahead and pre-ordered (download started right away. 31gb btw) it’ll be my last launch game purchase until the fall anyhow.
