  1. I'm the tiniest bit "worried" that they keep playing up how powerful she is, as I find "power levels" to be the least interesting aspect of superhero fandom in any media. Other than that... costume looks good and she looks the part. I'm excited.
  2. Not to defend anything that Goop promotes and I have no understanding of how a vaginal egg is supposed to work... but I’d guess they “work” with the woman doing kegel exercises. Those have been shown to strengthen the pelvic floor I believe. Dunno why someone would want to do those with an egg in their vagina but hey whatever man.
  3. There’s a pretty significant tone and character shift that happens in season 2. If you don’t like the show after that happens, you might as well bail. But it’s worth getting that far before you jump.
  4. *Ring ring* สวัสดี Yes, people I know in Thailand? Hi. Tell me what’s going on? You know with this one guy’s child bride? *click*
  5. I’m really confused as to why it’s so hard to understand and accept that people don’t know what goes into the production of the entertainment they like. I was at PAX East this year. In line to play PUBG at the official PUBG booth. While we were waiting, we were talking to the people next to us about the hundreds of hours they logged and the hundreds of dollars they’d spent on the Steam marketplace for cosmetics. Brendan Greene came up to the booth and was talking to the guys coordinating each match. I turned to the guys I was talking to and said, “oh hey that’s Brendan Greene.” ”Who?” ”Uh... PlayerUnknown?” ”PlayerUnknown is a person?” ”Yup.” ”I thought it was called that because the game has no story and there’s matchmaking.” People. Don’t. Care. Not EVERYONE. Some people obviously care a lot. But in general, they just don’t. Nobody is calling you dumb. Why are you taking this so personally? Most people won’t notice James Gunn was fired because they don’t know who writes or directs movies. So that’s true. They’d recognize a new cast, I don’t think anyone said they wouldn’t. But they won’t care that much. Fuck man get John Cena to do it and not only would people not care they’d probably be psyched.
  6. I really liked the whole season other than the ending which was... abrupt.
  7. Good thing you’re only trying to crack AI and don’t have to deal with the heavy burden of notches.
  8. How many Batmen, Supermen, Spider-Men, Hulks, Punishers, etc., have there been in the last 15 years? You think people are gonna lose their shit if there’s another Drax?
  9. The Lando sculpt from Imperial Assault was awesome, I wouldn’t complain if they used a very similar one for Legion. Great pose and easy to paint.
  10. I think you’re both misreading my intent. I don’t think most of the movie going public is “dumb” when it comes to movies, they’re just not invested beyond the specific experience of watching the movie. I don’t think it’s stupid, at all, to be this way. There’s a lot going on in and to experience in life. If someone wants to get super into their hobbies, godspeed. But most people don’t. An anecdote. I had an afternoon with a buddy at a local game store where we’re both painting miniatures before we were gonna play Twilight Imperium with some friends. I mentioned that Christian T Petersen was gonna resign at the end of the year and how Asmodee buying up game publishers was having a big effect on the industry. Dude didn’t know who Christian T Petersen was despite his name being on every box of Twilight Imperium we’d played for years. Dude didn’t know what Asmodee was, and they’re the biggest board game property owner on the universe. This is a guy who has sat down and played TONS of Twilight Imperium. Has painted the minis in his copy of the game and commissioned copies of the game. It’s his FAVORITE game. He’s probably spent 1,000 hours playing it in his life. But he doesn’t know who designed it or what company owns its publisher. He’s not dumb generally. He’s not dumb about board games. He just doesn’t care about how the sausage gets made. I really don’t understand why this is so difficult to accept. I mean skills... you’re a dude on the Internet who likes Star Wars. You know much more about movies than I do. But you had not heard of the decades old debate about why the Death Star exhaust port didn’t have a lid. EVERYONE is like this about something they REALLY enjoy. You’re not “movie dumb.” Or “Star Wars dumb.” You just didn’t care enough to know that was a debate. Some people are like that with every aspect of every movie they see. That’s all.
  11. Guardians 2 didn’t end in a cliffhanger. Let’s assume they and Iron Man and Cap are all alive at the end of Infinity War 2. To most fans, the probability of Iron Man 4 happening, Cap 4 happening, and Guardians 3 happening are all equal. I don’t know why you’re so hung up on the notion that casual fans of something are casual. There are people who don’t know different teams make the different Call of Duty games each year despite getting them on launch day. There are people who will stream their favorite artist’s songs on Spotify all the time and couldn’t tell you what album their songs come from. There are people who would never really wonder why Guardians 3 never came out just like they have never really wondered why there was no Hulk 2.
  12. I picked up Han / 2 Commandos. My current Legion "backlog" is... 2 packs of Snowtroopers, Veers, Vader, 2 units of Speeder Bikes and 1 AT-ST. I kind of can't wait for Legion to roll into the Clone Wars era where I won't feel the siren song of every fucking unit.
  13. The context doesn't matter because most people who see the GotG movies have no fucking clue who James Gunn is.
