It warms my heart that Georgia is doing worse against LSU on neutral territory (yet still in Georgia) than Florida did at LSU when they kept in neck-and-neck until the 4th quarter. Still tons of time left, though, so UGA could strike back in the second half. Lane Kiffin is going to Ole Miss. Wonder how long he'll stay.

You got this. It's a fucking blast. Once you get in the groove after the learning curve of one cell, it doesn't seem like this impossible thing. I had the seem feelings are you -- "Whoa, this is way harder," "Whoa, is this even impossible even a cell higher?" -- but if you're getting to the final boss now, then you're progressing just fine, probably even a little quicker than I did. Plus, it's just fucking fun, so as much as I wanted to completely beat the game, I was enjoying every minute getting to the end. Enjoy!

Republicans have half of the nation's governors' mansions and the Senate and the Supreme Court. There's backlash to Trump, not populism. The backlash was to your status quo. It's also why milquetoast candidates like Biden aren't handily beating Sanders or Warren and why Yang has made every debate despite being a no-name; the status quo sucks, and everyone knows it.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/north-carolinas-new-house-map-hands-democrats-two-seats-but-it-still-leans-republican/ The kicker: Not a great map, and not the answer, but an improvement and an example of why contributing to a movement is better than one individual running for office (aka: Stacey Abram's activism is more important than her running for office).

Welllll.... release dates for FF7R and The Last of Us Part II were revealed on SoP events, and SIE's Iron Man VR was revealed on it as well. But for the PS5, correct, they have said no next-gen news. -

Yo, the new trilogy isn't really about the Emperor. Regardless as to whether seeing Palpatine is a real treat or if it falls flat, that's on JJ. I've loved the story of the sequels so far. Hell, the minute I read the first sentence of TFA's opening crawl, I knew I was in for a treat. Even the mothafukin' crawls got me excited, especially with no passive, "The taxation of trade routes is in dispute," sentences.

Ah, okay, I misread what you meant by, "ability to make a franchise," and read it as, "You need an existing IP to have the ability to make a franchise that expensive." But either way, you're right. It's honestly impressive he received that much fucking money to make that movie, especially when you look at its opening weekend gross, which was good but by no means indicative on how much money it was eventually going to make!

This is definitely true most of the time (Lord of the Rings was based on an existing IP, as one example). But sometimes you can get a ton of money to create a brand new franchise: In 2009 dollars, this was much more expensive than any ST Star Wars film. Maybe you just have to create the highest-grossing movie (at the time) in Titanic to get that kind of dough.
