  1. The only thing they made was Halo and he couldn't even finish it. On the other hand, there was a Sony game he wanted that released each year. Seems like a pretty decent assumption he's making considering they've made literally nothing he wanted to play, but I'm sure you have a decent relationship with him and know his psyche.
  2. I remember when these companies used to trash each other. Now they'll do events together, you'll see them catching up at trade shows. I feel like there are more gamers who actually are in charge in these places now. Also, my brother for the first time ever it's going to get a PlayStation Next Generation because Microsoft Studios aren't making anything he wants. At the same time I think Phil's strategy makes sense. Sony didn't create their first party Studio by trying to be Nintendo. They're doing their own thing, Nintendo is doing theirs, and Microsoft has to find their identity.
  3. https://blog.playstation.com/2020/06/29/playstation-plus-july-games-lineup-a-thank-you-for-10-years-of-supporting-ps-plus/ Erica was an under-the-radar game released last year that I've thought about getting. Now it's a no-brainer. Seems like a 21st century Night Trap.
  4. Mississippi House leaders for both parties talk about voting to change Mississippi's flag. Look at the large protest behind them. The Mississippi governor says he'll sign the bill.
  5. YALL LIED AND SAID NOTHING BUT BAD RULINGS AFTER LGBTQ I CAN NEVER TRUST YOU AGAIN
  6. Recent polls are good for Democrats in Arizona, North Carolina, and Georgia. They already have leads in Maine and Colorado, which would all be good for taking the Senate with a slim majority. Polls are good for Republicans in Alabama. Arizona's interesting because Kelly is doing better as a Democrat there than Biden. That kind of thing would be good for him on election day because no Democrat won their Senate seat in 2016 without Hillary also winning the state, and split-ticket voters are currently rarer than 10 or 20 years ago. Friendly and constant reminder: these polls are a snapshot, not a prediction.
  7. This is great. Look on the previous page; I had the same crazy realization. I'm around 17ish hours and just finished Day 2, and hearing that it was a 25 hour experience, I wondered where I actually was in the story. You must be exploring a lot and finding places that you could have easily missed. That's my guess because that's what I'm doing. I'm very impressed with the exploration aspect. I loved exploring neighborhoods and city blocks in the first, but they really upped that part of the game. There are two-story places that you could miss out on if you don't look around a bit more.
  8. I actually replay games a lot, but I think around a couple years ago, I wondered why the hell I was rushing things just so I could be part of the conversation within the first two weeks. It's like, I'm spending the money to buy a game, why rush things and probably not enjoy them as much? Fuck though, this gon' be, like, a 40 hour experience for me even though a lot of people are getting it done in 25ish.
  9. My God, I'm going slow as fuck I thought I was a little bit further because I retrieved what I thought was the final training manual. But at the same time, since I heard that that maybe I wasn't actually that far yet. But it's cool! Why rush it, right?
  10. I just finished Day 2. I have, like, 17ish hours? But I don't feel like I'm super far into the game. Could someone spoiler how far into the game I am?
  11. Biden seems to actually oppose legalization, while Obama was faking his opposition to gay marriage. But on that note, Biden was the one who announced his support of it first, so I wouldn't be shocked -- though would still be ecstatic -- if he changed the dumb opposition to it.
  12. I remember the conversations about his politics, but I don't think he's actually right-wing. He donated to Obama in 2012. And when being interviewed about TDKR, I remember he was very clear that it wasn't the message that was dangerous, but the person weaponizing it by taking advantage of people's natural distrust for the powerful.
  13. Um Seattle Day 2 (don't click unless you're already past it) Also, I'm further into Day 2 at 12 - 13 hours in the game. I feel like I'm going slllooooowww.
  14. No, that was me. I put the wrong link: https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/florida-coronavirus-numbers-june26/67-8de17be9-e4ef-4ef4-9dbe-fb7f434fe538 Maybe I didn't phrase it well, but it jumped up, just not to the level I'd immediately assume when hearing that we recorded 9000 (the percent positive from a few days ago was worse). The trend is still bad.
  15. Florida records nearly 9000 cases, around a 4000 case jump from yesterday. If there's any silver lining, it's that the percent positive didn't jump the same amount, so much of the jump can actually be attributed to increased testing for once. The trend in percent positive is still going in the wrong direction.
