    Ah damn that's a shame seen a silver and blue one for a good price but I kinda want the New model.

    Which LPD unit? While I would prefer a Galaxy unit the LPD one might tempt me... edit: Is that one a New 3DS XL or is it the old model?

    Actually want the Galaxy Purple one... thanks for the info on the Japanese units though I didn't know that will look into it!

    Yeah I sold my Zelda ones a couple years ago sadly before they got that expensive. Seen a few galaxy purple ones for around $900.

    Are you serious? If you are let me break this down in easy to understand bullet points for you: 1. AAA Game development is on a 4-5 year development cycle right now. 2. Covid happened making development much harder increasing dev times. 3. Covid happened causing a boom in demand for stuff to do at home like oh say playing video games. 4. Increased demand and more difficult development created a boom in the industry making companies hire a lot more people than they normally need. 5. Lockdowns ended, people went back outside and to work so the demand dropped and MS needed to scale back on employees. Realistically we are just starting to see the real impact of what Phil Spencer is doing.

    Lol you relax I was messing with you a bit there RE4 isn't the only remake this year we also got Dead Space and Metroid Prime

    Because you mentioned RE3 Remake Wasn't gatekeeping what counts the remakes this year are a lot better! Fact of the matter is we get actual new RPG's this year which is an improvement.

    I love basically everything they have done I was a big backer of Golem Arcana (RIP), have met the team in person (I'm in one of their YouTube videos lol) and FYI they are the team (renamed after MS dissolved them) that did the Shadowrun FPS and Crimson Skies.

    This year stomps that with better fighting games, two Yakuza games, better Zelda game, assuming better Spider-Man game, better RE Remake, better WRPG and JRPG lineup and so much more.

    LOL I was planning on making this thread tonight Yes this will go down as one of the greatest years in gaming if not THE year. I've barely seen any talk of indies in here but Blasphemous 2, Dredge, Silksong (if it makes it), Mina (also if it makes it) and Gestalt should all be big hits.

    Quest 3 should be lit probably Switch quality graphics but high resolution and framerate in VR. Steam Deck has amazing controls just hope to get one with an amazing screen as well. Maybe if the ROG Ally takes off a Pro model with more RAM and an OLED screen will be released soon.

    Some of it got worse some better SO went to the doctor today just kidney stones thankfully... however also today mom had to put her dog down. Quest 3 is this fall I had to sell my Quest 2 last year looking forward to playing my VR library again. My situation with other systems: Xbox: Really like the BC but I want a price drop, more storage or a special edition I can't resist. Playstation: I will wait for the Pro and a fire sale on the failed PSVR2. ROG Ally: Almost did it for me an OLED screen would have got me (32 GB of RAM also wouldn't hurt). Steam Deck: I'll wait for the next one. Analog Pocket: Maybe!

    Things aren't great but I get my settlement this month (which is MUCH smaller than it should be barely even covers my lost wages) and I want to budget in a system but don't see anything I'm 100% sold on (Will get a Quest 3 at launch though).

    Ubisoft is one of my blacklisted developers and honestly this is the first time in a long time I feel like I'm really going to miss out on something.

    I agree and I'm more interested in an Xbox than a Playstation right now... however at this point I feel it's worth waiting another year to see if there are Pro consoles or price drops.

    As someone who is excited for Starfield I think that is a totally fair take. I'm sure Starfield will provide some more nuanced things to explore on planets but with everything in No Mans Sky has added I wouldn't see Starfield as the sole reason to get a new Xbox.

    I haven't gotten into an Elder Scrolls or a Fallout but I think this is going to scratch that itch the original Mass Effect did of exploring a bunch of worlds and finding neat little secrets.

    Ah, that makes sense the live service games were appropriately marketed to you Spider-Man 2 does look great but it was a known quantity going in and they didn't show any other upcoming games first party games for next year. It just felt like a giant misstep similar to the Microsoft conference last year.
