  1. If Bee coffee roasters is still across the street coffee it is
  2. Tony Hawk 1+2 was fairly recently and I believe was successful. I'm certain that is a franchise Microsoft will leverage for Gamepass. I've always thought CoD was bad at a fundamental level but I have had fun playing some of them. I think they could do a mainline game every two years and do spinoffs in between.
  3. They have had some underperformers since then and are lucky to be back in the position they are. They really need to move to an every other year model.
  4. Skylanders was a thing nearly a decade ago they have not been in the position to try something different in a long time. CoD sells and is what makes their investors happy, they had several flops outside of that and moved all the studios with flops to CoD development. Fortunately we have gotten some Crash games lately but they are way too reliant on CoD currently and how long is that really sustainable?
  5. Yeah I will absolutely get Binary Domain. I'm not really into ATV games but I will see if I can grab a used copy to try it out at least. I will have to get 1 and I already have the other Geometry Wars me and @Chairslinger were near the top of the leaderboard on the original GW and I am pretty sure he got really high up on some of the sequels. Oh, I also picked up Control Ultimate edition since it was on such a steep discount while I already have it on PC from free giveaways my comp can't handle that and I've really been wanting to try that game out.
  6. I picked up: Ninja Gaiden Black (on the store) Blur (NIB) Metal Gear Rising (NIB) Have an offer out on: Too Human (NIB) Couple things I see are still on the Xbox store and I am waiting for a sale on them. Also picked up Elden Ring ($40), Scarlet Nexus ($12) and Mass Effect Legendary Edition ($17)
  7. I thought maybe but there is also another thread where we are discussing the online play should be free
  8. Binary Domain is a good call that's one I have heard only good things about! Already have Split/Second easily one of my favorite racing games. Actually if I ever get rich AF I'm starting a game studio and a heavily Split/Second influenced VR racing game will be developed by my team. Is there any way to play shoot Geomtry Wars outside of Project Gotham Racing? I absolutely love OG GW not so hot on the sequels.
  9. Not sure will have to check love Blood Wake. Jade Empire is on sale I am half tempted to pick it up but not sure if I want to play through it again I had a dream last night where I was in a store picking up some old titles Also I am assuming the best way to play Ninja Gaiden is still just buying the digital version of NGB?
  10. 1. WTF does layoffs that were mostly due to over hiring during the pandemic have to do with this? Get a real argument. 2. I doubt they keep up with yearly mainly releases and are more willing to delay things that need a bit more polish. Unlike Activision it isn't their golden goose and they have room to breath. 3. Part of the issue with Rare IP is Rare isn't interested in reviving them but this is also a bad argument because we are getting a Perfect Dark basically no one asked for 4. After the debacle of Redfall among other titles it is something I am sure they are thinking about. 1. A lot of Activision employees and press think that it will be a notable improvement over the current situation. 2. They have given their other studios a lot of freedom and while I think Microsoft will be more involved going forward thanks to Redfall I do believe it will be better than the current state of things. 3. See above and below. 4. That is a good point but Microsoft is in the position where they can try something a bit different. 5. I really don't understand why with a successful roster of single player franchises and all the other failed live service games Sony is so focused on them. Microsoft tried a few and I think they are pretty much done outside of ones they acquire. Sony really needs to get their shit together the PSVR2 is totally my type of console seller but their lineup was fucking abysmal
  11. That is at least 1 too many tiers and the console tier is notably worse than PC which is cheaper. They should just get rid of core and adjust the console tier to include online multiplayer (Ultimate still is an upgrade with EA Play, PC and cloud games).
  12. I don't drink beer
  13. Crimson Skies I think is on Gamepass love that game will probably play through it again. Otogi is on my list. Good call I would have missed this one I will grab it tonight!
  14. I didn't care for that game. Will have to check it out not a big Sonic fan though. Good call I was considering that one. Already played through RDR (except the DLC] haven't even tried Blinx yet I should good call! Burnout 2 as well both had top tier track designs and I put effort into having some of the best times online.
  15. Now that I have the Series X I'm looking for what I should pick up from the back catalog. I was pleasantly surprised to find I already own: Lost Odyssey (I really need to play through this now) Midnight Club Los Angeles Burnout Paradise I picked up: Split/Second (which I've already started playing again love this game) Asura's Wrath I'm going to get physical copies of: Blur Too Human Metal Gear Rising Revengeance What hidden gems do I need to find
  16. I got Diablo IV bundled with my Series X 🔥 I was really going to wait until they introduced set items but now I have no excuses

    Turning 33

I didn't back then I may have lost a tiny amount of sex drive recently... however considering the last time I was over to see my SO I was all over her 3 times a day if I have lost a little that's probably a good thing

    Turning 33

I'm 43 in a month from today be prepared for your metabolism to go to shit
  19. I will be there at least one day considering the full four and trying to flip cards to make it worthwhile.
  20. I did a short stint for Pizza Hut at the start of the year and they have a $5 delivery fee here that is "to offset driver mileage and cover things like car toppers". The city I live in is very small and they don't deliver outside of city limits so even if every order I took was on the opposite end of town they were still making big bucks on that delivery fee. After a blizzard and several people not tipping during that and the fact there isn't that many deliveries in this town to begin with I went back to DoorDash (where I can at least decline every order from the people who are not tipping).
