Anyone else actually play these? I don't know how much I'd call this a remake. Most of the puzzles are new. This much is a little disappointing. I know the game has to be designed around TV play, so it couldn't have any of the very cool puzzles that involved holding the DS in your hands, but the puzzles still weren't nearly as creative. I still enjoyed my time with the game. Took me about 12 hours to get through both stories. I've got to ask, though. Who thought the default camera speed was the best choice? I almost quit the game early on until I saw you could change the camera speed in the menu.

Really do appreciate it. A lot of this stuff is really unintuitive. All my kids have 529 I opened for them the day I got their SS cards. Just opened my daughter an ABLE account and am rolling her 529 over to that as soon as the ink dries. Now to just walk down the rest of your list. Anything that helps, especially with how expensive therapy is. Her neurologist wants her in 15-20hr/wk. It's so fucking expensive. Last year, I blew through my entire family max out of pocket by like mid-February thanks to it.

It's always fun how unique everyone is case to case. My daughter is verbal, but she has no language. It's as if someone reached into her head and just snatched her ability to process language, but not her ability to speak. She can read, she can label things, she can sing and get all the lyrics right, she can repeat her favorite episodes of Daniel Tiger, and even commercials. Nobody can tell if she understands any of it, though. There was a period of time when she thought "thank you" was pronounced "for contributions to your local PBS station and viewers like you" and "good night" was "Hey Google, turn off the girls light". I'm sure there are and I'll start worrying about them when she's in her teens. Who knows what the landscape will look like ten, fifteen years from now. I wish summer school were longer for her. She gets a month of half day classes.

My middle child is autistic and these are the stories that both enrage and frighten me. She's 6, the size of a 10yo, gentle and sweet as can be, but prone to random screams. I'm happy I live in Massachusetts and have the kids in a school system that can get her help. Right now, I'm just hoping she learns to use a toilet and maybe handle some yes/no questions. Unfortunately, public schools don't last forever and I have no idea where she'll be when she's 19.

I was really looking forward to Metallic Rouge. A flashy take of a world similar to Pluto by Bones? Sure, I'm in. I'm still ready to throw some money down for some of the robots in the series because I really like their designs. Animation is great, art is great, English dub is great...I like the characters. That's probably enough for most people. I just have zero idea why anything that is happening is happening. Three episodes in, still completely lost, but not with mystery. The plot just hasn't really presented itself yet. Maybe others will enjoy it more than me. I went over to check out ANN's episode reviews and they have the first two episodes a 4.5/5 and the third a 3/5. The series so far is fun and maybe that's good enough. However, I'm having trouble getting into that sort of fun just coming off Pluto that dealt with a lot of the same themes and subject matter but with real grace and intrigue.

Anyone enjoying any of the anime currently airing? Gushing Over Magical Girls is for perverts and degenerates, so I guess that makes me one of them now. It's actually hilarious and a ton of fun. Nobody should go out of their way to subscribe to HiDive for it, though. Metallic Rogue has been a huge disappointment so far. I'm three episodes in and it still feels like all style, no substance. I'm also not super convinced lore dumps we're likely to receive later in the series really turns out around. The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is a ton of fun. It's a typical isekai, but I like the concept of healers should be tanks to save lives in the front lines. Frieren is still the best anime anywhere right now, so no surprise there.

This one really had me sweating. However, that turned up to be the only playable word left, so not as scary after hitting Enter on the guess. I've got a Lego Ingenuity sitting right on my bookshelf next to Perseverance. It did a good job.

No redemption for this guy and we'll never get all those people that died back, but at the very least KyoAni did not shut down like I was worried they would. They came back with Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S back in 2021. They still aren't producing much, but this at least didn't end the studio's ideals.

It's still the best anime streaming service out there. HOWEVER, there's a whole lot of fantastic anime on Netflix. Pluto came out last month on Netflix and I feel it really flew under the radar. It might be an Astroboy spinoff, but it is very much hard sci-fi. I really liked it and wish more people would give it a shot.

I think it depends on what you're looking at and the people we're talking about here. There is a bunch of GenZ representation here. Now I'm a 41yo, single dad to three kids in school. I'm about as far away from that age group as you can get before the number of anime fans my age really start to trail off. Still, GenZ is what? 10-25 or something? Compared to a lot of the stuff made for the tween, teen, and young adult market market, yeah, I can buy that anime resonates emotionally. We aren't just talking about action stuff either. Anime is pretty close to the only medium that has any romance content that targets straight boys and men. Last couple of years we've gotten stuff like My Dress Up Darling and Insomniacs After School. These aren't romcoms. These are straight romance, slice of life, dramas that target guys.

Eh, not at all surprising. Anime nerd culture, NOT gamer culture, has always more inclusive. Huge numbers of minority fans and support for LGBT fans, even if anime media wasn't as inclusive. There might be Blerdcon these days, but I still remember the first few years of Anime Boston and being much more friendly to women, minorities, and anyone else not a cis, white male. Telemundo was airing a bloody and uncensored Dragon Ball Z along with queer friendly Sailor Moon and Saint Seiya back before Toonami was ever a thing. I straight stole my parents' VCR so I could record episodes of the Spanish dubs. I will admit that plenty of anime fandoms are toxic. Among many others, I'm looking at you One Piece fans that refuse to use proper pronouns for the 9' tall oni just because he has big boobs.
