  1. Ones that obligate the business to the stakeholders (particularly the local community) for the period of the agreement would be fine by me, depending on the details of course. Mere existence isn't enough.
  2. The Republicans professed to want to work with Obama the whole time they were obstructing the democrats.
  3. I want them to pass things that make it harder for Senate Republicans to get re-elected in 2020 because I'm not seeing how anything with a Democratic priority actually makes it through. Fortunately we'll have a brilliant legislator and shrewd whip counter in charge.
  4. Hugging it tightly like it was Tropic of Cancer, muttering "nancipelosi" over and over
  5. Good but not great results. Or maybe great but not fantastic. Enough that hopefully the enthusiasm stays high. I'm hopeful for 2020 now, seeing that mid-east/mid-west states trump won elect Democratic governors and senators. Glad Dave Brat lost, what a prick.
  6. I've been here several times, last time a couple weeks ago for brunch.
  7. Someone came up to the line and started campaigning for libertarians and the whole line told her to get out of there lol
  8. I showed up at six and it took 45 minutes and the line filled in behind me as I went in.
  9. Dems also need to have quality candidates up and down the ballot; part of the story in Virginia was Northam's lead extending thanks to people turning out for lower card races and juicing overall numbers. Having a quality Congressperson to vote for increases the chance they'll vote up ticket too even if that person doesn't excite them. In politics, it seems, coattails are rode in both directions. Edit: P.S. This can also help cover the need for enthusiasm. Ralph Northam didn't need as much charisma because other well known candidates in the state did.
  10. I'll grill up some burgers and then take the American cheese and cut it into four triangles then rearrange them into two smaller squares stacked on each other then close the lid while the meat rests and the cheese gets perfectly soft and doesn't run off the sides. The kids love it.
