High-altitude UFO shot down over Alaska
Air_Delivery replied to Jason's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
TBF it isn't technically united with the rest of the states. -
It has been known for decades washing your hands is effective against some viruses/bacteria. Just as it has been known for decades that masking is effective against others. Its why in the beginning of COVID why they recommended doing everything before they really knew how it is spread. There are plenty of studies showing the effectiveness of masking against COVID even with regular surgical masks. One meta study isn't going to change the consensus. The only masks that seem to not work well are cloth.

Update: Hasbro/WotC appears to have capitulated
Air_Delivery replied to Commissar SFLUFAN's topic in The GM Screen
Sure, things like using stats, modifers, saving throws and all that can't be protected but I think the problem is that characters, spells, items and monsters as described in D&D are copywritable. Now I haven't played D&D in 20 years but I'd imagine these 3rd party campaigns are using characters, spells, items and monsters as described in the various D&D manuals and novels.- 48 replies

The Water Wars Official Thread 💧🔪
Air_Delivery replied to CayceG's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
Why should I feel bad about people about people who moved to the middle of the desert crying about having to buy expensive water? The Southwest has been dealing with drought for 20 years now. Scientists have been warning for even longer about the effects of global warming and the impact on the region. If they choose to ignore or not believe it thats their problem. The market working itself out is Republican gospel which is what this area is primarily. Part of that is people getting fucked for poor decisions. Maybe the market will work itself out and people will stop building houses in stupid places. -

I don't feel bad for those people at all. This is a heavily Republican area, so global warming is fake and let the free market work itself out. Oh you want water? Gotta pay for it. Supply and demand after all.
