It boggles my mind when these sorts of decisions are made. Like, I 100% understand perhaps giving a boost to your own passion projects. But why try and destroy the things you don't know a lot about? Such an ego-driven thing. -

Hmm...the 59th anniversary of JFK's "assassination"? And he was the 35th President. 59 - 35 = 24. 2024. So this potential strike is really heralding the return of JFK on a rail convoy to DC to announce that he is alive and will run for President in 2024!!!! -
An ad exec explains why they are moving away from Twitter advertising: Source: I told my team to pause our $750K/month Twitter ads budget last week - Blind WWW.TEAMBLIND.COM I’ve seen a lot of technical and ideological takes on Elon Twitter but wanted to share the marketing perspective. PC Playing Skyrim again - need help on melee weapon mods
CitizenVectron posted a topic in The Spawn Point
Got the itch, so reinstalling it for the 10th time (Steam). Installing the Special Edition, and I'll have to start the mod search once again. This time I'm focusing on melee weapons, I'll try to be some kind of brute, so I'll try and mod it with a bunch of new/extra weapons, since the base game isn't very great for those. I also remember there being some kind of great melee combat mod that turned it into Zelda-esque, does anyone remember which mod that is? -
Ticketmaster’s Parent Company Said to Face Justice Department Investigation - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM The inquiry predates the botched presale of Taylor Swift tickets this week and is said to focus on whether Live Nation has abused its power in the live music industry. For those unaware, Ticketmaster decided to put up all presale codes/tickets for Taylor Swift's tour at the same time and it caused a massive crash, and many people (including fans with presale codes, etc) weren't able to get tickets. Tickets are being resold on Ticketmaster's own site for $9,500+. This isn't the first time they've fucked up and benefited massively (since they get a cut), but it's the largest fuckup.

Federal dental benefit officially becomes law | CBC News WWW.CBC.CA The first stage of the Canada Dental Benefit officially became law Thursday night after Bill C-31 passed its final reading in the Senate and received royal assent from Governor General Mary... Federal dental care is slowing starting to ramp up with the passage of the first part (children 12 and under). Next year it expands to 18 and under, then seniors, and then everyone. The major (and bad) stipulation is that it's income-tested. Hopefully that disappears over time in some way. At the least, families with incomes under $90,000 will benefit from this, which is a good thing.
