  1. I am thinking about how I want a Himalayan salt lamp...Not because I buy into any of that energy bullshit, but simply because I think they emit a pleasing shade of light.
  2. And you two were handsome lawyers! Really an uphill battle to survive in the field.
  3. Yes, they could. But Fortnite et al. have turned the genre into a cultural touchstone, so it's a topical joke to make.
  4. It's just referencing the fact that, for most new multiplayer games, there is more parity (and thus for the average player, more entertainment) because everything is so fresh. It is not requesting that people don't improve.
  5. Hopefully Stormy gave him some tips on how to handle a spit-roasting...
  6. I mean, it's definitely different from a combat perspective. I've only been able to put in an hour or so, but parrying just doesn't feel good yet...I can never tell if I did it or not, or how much it really matters. I'm sure I'll understand the cues in time, but coming from the satisfying Soulsborne 'duhhhhhhnnnn', it's an adjustment. I also still haven't grasped the ratio you want between block-parry-dodge, but again, that will come with time. As always though, From has made an exquisitely designed game.
  7. None of this precludes financial crimes though, which are likely in SDNY’s hands. KEEP STROKIN’ BOYS
  8. Because it’s always White People who are apprehensive about the ghetto. And I didn’t say anything about POC, nice try though.
  9. Can always count on Boyle to defend the White People Feelings.
  10. Nothing about jury duty makes someone morally superior; it is basic civic service. Or do you think we should be excusing people who refuse to do even the bare minimum?
  11. Right, but it is still problematic given that organized labor is an important cause for the Democratic Party (especially the left). My point isn't that the party should be overly concerned about what the AFL-CIO thinks, it's that this type of friction is inherent to the party, which turns the smug attitude about liberal ineffectiveness into rich schadenfreude.
  12. Oh no, spending a day in a poor neighborhood. THE HORROR!
  13. Few weeks old, but I didn't recall seeing it posted. Good luck on your continued quest to re-write the Democratic Party, lefties.
