  2. I know people keep saying they want to Trump to just die already, but I've said it before, he can't die yet; he needs to be convicted of a crime first. If he dies now, before anything is proven of his wrongdoings, he dies a martyr. He dies innocent. If he's found guilty of something first though, yes there will still be people defending him, but fuck them, they don't matter, Trump will go down in history as a proven criminal. Guilty. He must be charged, tried, and convicted. When it is done, and his legacy is ashes, then he has my permission to die.
  3. It was my dad's birthday recently, and I thought it would be fun to take him to a gun range, and do some sort of package rental thing to shoot various guns there, but I almost feel, I don't know, guilty? Hypocritical? Just uneasy I guess about wanting to do that with everything happening lately in the States, and the rampant, out-of-control him violence, and I'm all for massive gun law reform in the States, and possibly even just ending private ownership. I don't know, it almost feels like I would be supporting the idea of more gun access to go "have fun with guns", when I'm just so tired of the gun nuts preventing any necessary change. Yes there are plenty of responsible gun owners, and people way up north in polar bear territory apparently don't leave the house without a rifle since those bears will hunt and attack humans, and I'm not about to say we should take their guns away, but it seems that there are far too many gun owners who aren't really all that responsible owners, but they're labeled as such just because they bought their guns legally, and haven't done anything illegal with them yet, and yet they're the ones dictating the conversation. It should be a license where you need to go through extensive testing to prove you know how to own, operate, and store your guns safely, just like you need a license to drive a car. I guarantee if the States just copy and pasted Canada's laws there'd be a massive reduction in gun violence. I haven't suggested the range idea to my dad, and not even sure if I will now.

  5. Shit that's actually a really good deal, and I've been meaning to play through the RE games, even though there are some games in there I don't really have a desire to own. I've never bought a Humble Bundle either.

  7. Sure she's responsible for her own choices, absolutely, but I think Jimmy brought out a part of her that she repressed for years. I think, if I'm remembering correctly, the first "wrongdoing" she did with him was conning the stock exchange guy with the expensive tequila. Before that, had her and Jimmy never met/hung out, I think she would have stayed and the straight and narrow path, but from that point on, she was having too much fun with Jimmy, and the more they were together, the worse she got. As she said, together they're poison. With Howard it finally caught up with them, and someone got hurt way more than they intended, even if it wasn't directly their fault (Lalo is responsible for that murder), Howard never would have been killed had they not been trying to prank him/sully his reputation; he was in the wrong place at the wrong time in the worst possible way. Kim decided after that they can't be together, and she needs to stop with this nonsense, whereas Jimmy seemed to brush it aside, and double down on it all, almost like he was trying to spite her. I think there's a parallel to be made between Walter and Jimmy as they both put on this macho bravado façade. Walt had too much pride and ego, and would always act like a tough guy, but whenever someone actually tough pushed back he'd whimper in fear, and Jimmy puts on this act like nothing bothers him and everything's a joke to him, but he is hurting inside, but he just doesn't want anyone to see that. The way he nonchalantly signed those divorce papers after making her wait who knows how long, while his clients built up outside to show off his success to Kim, and his phone call like nothing had happened, and no sympathy at all for Kim when she was clearly shocked as all just to mask his true feelings. I do think deep deep down Jimmy is a good guy (even if it's getting deeper down the more he himself "breaks bad"), and does care about other people (like his elderly clients from the first season), but like Chuck said he can't help himself, and he'll always end up hurting the ones he loves. It's like he's got an addiction to prove over everyone else that he's the smartest guy in the room, and he does it in the worst way.
  8. Also anyone get serial killer vibes just off of Gene's look in this episode? The hair, glasses, moustache reminded me of someone like the BTK, not some Hollywood, glamourized serial killer, but a normal everyday guy who could snap your neck.
  9. Kim at least felt remorse and it practically destroyed her life afterwards. She's living such a mundane life compared to what her intelligence could afford her given she is a terrific lawyer. Jimmy corrupted her, and let out the worst in her, something I suspect she was trying to keep down, and get away from after moving away from her home state and mother. Notice how she doesn't let herself make even the smallest of decisions like what flavour of cake, or if it's OK to use Miracle Whip instead of mayonnaise, because the last time she was the decision maker someone died! Then of course, she finally comes clean because she can't take the guilt anymore. This in no way absolves her of her wrongdoing, but it's a stark contrast to Jimmy who is still trying to get away with his cons, and doesn't seem to feel any guilt at all over what he's done. Kim at least seems like she would accept prosecution and a prison sentence without a fight because she knows she deserves it. There's still some questions I have, like how exactly did Jimmy fully embrace the Saul persona after Kim left him, and truly become a CRIMINAL lawyer, who would actually encourage killing if need be, and be "a friend to the cartel", since Jimmy when Kim left at least still seemed to have some integrity as a lawyer.
  10. To be fair, I read the theory online @skillzdadirectano Jimmy has never killed anyone directly. After this he's going to have to phone the vacuum cleaner guy to disappear again, but given that the actor who played him, Robert Forster passed away, he won't be able to. He's going to get caught for sure I think, and finally face the consequences. No Slippin' away for Jimmy this time.

  13. It's not just about the money. You put all this work into making a film, and now people won't get to see it. It could have furthered the careers of them being in a high profile movie. I mean imagine being an actor, struggling for your big break, and some director decides to take a chance with you because they see something in you, and cast you in what is going to be a big blockbuster movie, but then after the filming is done, the studio just decides not to release it, and now no one gets to see your performance, and you still have to wait for your big break. Hell even for established actors, that's still gotta suck, especially if you thought you gave a really good performance that people would like. Same thing with the directors putting all this effort into a movie for millions of people to see, but now no one will.
  14. That would decimate the theatre industry, and put thousands of people out of work.

  16. Honestly this is how Predator movies should be. Forgot "expanding the lore" or whatever bullshit, just give us a Predator going against different people and/or in different scenarios.
  17. Plus the Comanche version has some errors with the subtitles which I couldn't help but notice while watching. One character says he needs to go to the "bathroom", uh they didn't have bathrooms back then... Went and looked at that scene in the English version, and he says he needs to take a squat, and the weird thing is the subtitles in the English version are "take a squat". I guess it's translating directly from Comanche, so there are some weird translation errors when there isn't really an English word or phrase for what they're saying. For example, the one guy who says he speaks many languages, is instead subtitled as "my tongue is very smart". Also the line Anyways very good movie, and yeah now I just want more Predators movies with them hunting different people; vikings, samurai, Shaolin monks.
  18. I'm trying to watch Prey on Disney+ with the Comanche dub, but the only subtitle option is the closed caption, which also lists every sound being made. I don't really need to read [deer grunts]. That's kind of annoying.
