  1. Still though, I'm more interested in 1996 than the present day. Team Adult Misty all the way though. The additional meat of the 1996 cast was kinda jarring too.
  2. I believe UConn is the only team left to have ever won the tourney. They need to lose tonight.
  3. Damn. Ohtani owned him. Trout couldn't even get a piece of one.
  4. Love JLC but that was a career achievement award, right? Hsu was better in EEAAO but it seemed like Condon was the consensus favorite based on actual performance.
  5. I was gonna say that that downpayment was the MSRP of my 2018 Hyundai Kona but also need to factor in that this was in January 2020 before supply chains went to shit. I really lucked out here with the pandemic; saving money on gas and leisure expenses. My monthly payment was $415 ($3,000 down, would have been more but I forgot my checkbook and that was the limit of my check card). It was supposed to be a 4 or 5 year plan but I paid it off last summer by doubling-up payments every other month. I've only put like 23,000 miles on it and most of that was in 2022.
  6. I watched late since I was watching wrestling but while doing that, I like to follow along with Twitter. I saw "baby girl" trending and glad I didn't pick up on it or click on it. Wonderful episode.
  7. When Dune was mentioned, was really hoping that Karga would say she died on the way back to her home planet.
  8. He was the main baddie in Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man.
  9. I've had 2 4K discs freeze on me and they were both Star Wars movies (Rogue One and A New Hope). Some genius thought it was a good idea to stack the 4K disc on top of the bonus disc and the 4K discs were scratched in the process. The BR disc had its own slot. Luckily, eps V-VIII were unscathed and I switched slots.
  10. Finished this on a weekend binge. It's enjoyable but pretty dumb at times. That vent scene was a bit of an eye-roller. Not what was in there, just the discovery, which probably gets excused with Tai's sleepwalking. Didn't even know Van survived until the S2 casting. I could have assumed given one of the last scenes since she seemed to be all-in. Also with the Lottie-reveal, I'm assuming the brunette who got hunted down in E01 was Mari. I see some random Yellowjackets in the casting so I hope it isn't one of those. Christina Ricci is absolutely delightful as Misty. Sammi Hanratty is no slouch either. I'm thinking the rest of the team excused her poisoning since it was only meant for Ben, whose authority is getting more challenged, notably from Laura Lee and Lottie. Looking forward to season 2. I'm pretty much all in on the 1996 plot. How I rank the present day plots: 1. Anything with Misty 2. Nat's kidnapping and Lottie's involvment 3. What Van and other possible survivors have been up to. I think only 7 were in the cannibal scene. If that's the actual number of survivors, then Van would be the last one accounted for. . . 4. Tai and whatever happens with her fam and career. . . 5. Callie knowing her mom, and possibly dad, had something to do with Adam's disappearance.
  11. I've been leaning towards Cody having the Mania main event in his contract as a clause when he re-signed. Best case scenario, as mentioned, is Cody/Roman night 1 and Sami/Roman night 2 BUT Sami and KO vs the Usos on night 1 also. Sami being champ champ at the end of night 2 would officially put an end to this chapter of the Bloodline. I think a triple threat would be out of the question. You just can't undermine Cody like that no matter how you feel about him or his push. This isn't going to be another Becky situation where the plan was Charlotte v Ronda for months only for a white hot Becky usurping Queen Charlotte, who's been bitter ever since.
  12. Last night looked like the pivot to the tag titles but KO was, so far, reluctant. With good reason, since Sami did take him out at Survivor Series to give the Bloodline the win. A lot of bridges need to be rebuilt in the next 6 weeks if the tag match is going to happen.
  13. Movie #1 Never heard of it and I grew up in the 80's. It was bad but enjoyable in how bad it was. That end credits song was something. Movie #2 Will watch later.
