oh man, this is going to bomb hard isn’t it! This came out today, surprise!

No many reviews yet, I guess since multiplayer is too important for it. I played some of the free trial leading up to release and did the tutorial and a couple mass races. The mass races are FUN. Like mouth hanging open smiling like a total goober fun.

I’m still not sure how I feel about the control, I feel like steep was a little tighter? Graphically it’s very okay, looks like a slightly better looking steep with too much CA, would have hoped for better if it wasn’t cross gen.

The tutorial is like hours long before you get a little freedom it’s really way too much and a bad start. I hope it doesn’t take forever to unlock all the sports. But yeah, mass races, those have huge potential.

This was pretty high on my list of games I was looking forward to. I played the beta and the large multiplayer games are pretty fun, but the open world traversal was janky and kinda boring, and the character progression type thing was... weird.

I didn't even realize this released this week. After the media blitz that was Far Cry 6, they just kinda shat it out without telling anyone.

Im an avid mountain biker and was really looking forward to playing this. I know there are other mtb games, but theyve all missed the mark on what Mountain Biking is (with the exception of lonely mountain, that game is fun).

mountain biking isnt about racing on smooth wide-open tracks. The courses should be rocky and tight and they shouldve focused on suspension physics since almost all Mtbers obsess over it. I know this is meant to be arcadey but it was boringly implemented. I guess the best way for me to describe it is it felt like a generic rally racing car game, but on a bike.

no one cares about jet packs.

the skiing, snowboarding feels OK, but theres a lot to be desired in the controls. Snow sports have been done before and better.

i played for about an hour or so and turned it off during the trial week. Ill grab it when its $25 bux.

I played the trial for about an hour and a half. It was way too much tutorial fluff that I lost interest. Kind of wished I could fast forward the game about 3 hours in to see what it was really all about. After a while I thought the game looked more exciting than it actually played.

The opening tutorial is BRUTAL and having that as the trial was probably a horrible idea because you barely can get into the game in the 4 hours they offered. The game essentially gets fun once the length of that trial ended, no idea what they were thinking.

They are going to probably work on that opening and run a trial again lol.
