This ship is badly needed by the Navy to take the work load off the more sophisticated Destroyers and aging Cruisers, and to replace the Little Crappy Ships. No, but this is the one design in the lot that has the power generation abilities that can support a future laser. Also, this is probably not only the safest choice, this being a proven design, but also the best choice for the Navy. And I was pulling for the General Dynamics/Navantia design!
