FPS recommendations

After playing the classic Doom games in preparation for Doom Eternal, I'm in a shooter phase and looking for recommendations.  This gen I've played through both Wolfenstein games (and The Old Blood), Titanfall 2, Doom 2016 (and now Eternal) Shadow Warrior, and the MC Collection.  I also played a bit of Dusk on my computer and I liked the gameplay but didn't really enjoy the atmosphere or tone of the game at all.  I'm thinking about either Bulletstorm or Call of Juarez: Gunslinger next, but have I missed anything else that's worth playing?  I'm looking for single-player games, preferably on PS4 or Switch.  Thanks!

Check out Ion Fury, it's supposed to hit PS4/Switch some time soon. It's based on the old Duke Nukem 3D engine and is really good, I've been playing it on PC. It does have old school FPS level design and everything which is exactly what I came to it for so expect key cards and so forth unlike modern FPS.

Also, Duke Nukem 3D is available in some sort of collector's edition on PS4. Still one of my favorite FPS.

In regards to actual current, modern FPS games, I think you may have basically listed them all here but then again I have no interest in military type shooters so who knows how many I'm not thinking of in that vein.

Prey

Metro Series

I think Prey is fantastic but I wouldn't call it an FPS at least compared to the style of game Shreddie is looking for based on his list.

I actually haven't played rhe Metro series but have been curious.

I am about to get into STALKER though.

Ion Fury looks awesome!  I will check that out as soon as it's released on consoles.  I've never played Duke Nukem 3D - does it still hold up?  I was surprised at how well Doom and Doom II have aged.

I've played Prey and it's one of my favorite games in the past several years.  It's brilliant and if anybody hasn't played that, get on it immediately!

Prey is also one of my games of the gen. It has flaws but fuck is it a diamond with maybe just small layer of roughness at worst.

Regarding Duke, if you thought Doom, and especially Doom II, still holds up, I can't even imagine you not liking Duke Nukem 3D. It's silly especially considering Duke Nukem is a riff on macho 80's action heroes but the level design and innovations brought to the Doom formula were huge back then. Also, the arsenal is fantastic and it's basically the stepping stone between Doom and more modern FPS conventions. It has an actual item inventory for stuff like a jet pack, portable health pack, it has remotely detonated pipe bombs, being able to interact with levels like light switches, cabinets that can be opened and stuff like that. The game was a huge deal when it came out and having replayed it several times including last year, I think it holds up perfectly. Maybe it's partly nostalgia but again, if you dig Doom and Doom II in 2020, I can't see you not liking this one.
