Just noticed this thread as I sit here watching the witcher. Kinda want to replay The Witcher 1 and I should really finish Witcher 3. Almost at the end. Picked up the DLCs for it as well.

They would really need to rebuild the entire combat system. Which they were in the process of doing back in the Xbox 360 days but it just wasn't coming together and they figured their time/money would be better spent on Witcher 2. 

 

Which was a good call, in hindsight. Witcher 2 on Xbox 360 should not have been possible.

 

It would be really cool if they resurrected that old project and adapted the OG Witcher to consoles though.
