Additionally, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo’s Shinichiro Watanabe, who directed one of the prequel shorts that tied into the release of Blade Runner 2049, is attached as a creative producer for the series. That's a pretty decent line-up. Watanabe’s Blade Runner Black Out 2022 was pretty good, and 2049 and it's prequel shorts proved that there is plenty that you can do in the Blade Runner world.
