stepee
By all accounts we should be in a bad recession but have somehow starved it off so far and it’s driving the media nuts because they have been saying it’s coming any day now for two years. Eventually they will probably be right but it’s not much of a prediction if you just say it non stop until it finally does just happen. I also don’t think constant media fear mongering over the economy helps with customer spending behavior.

I’ve been hearing economists at every conference say that recession is around the corner for the last 7 years. When it happens they will all tout how they “called it” and write a book and or start a pod cast on how smart they are. 3

Reminds me of Max Kellerman saying Tom Brady was going to drop off for 10 years straight. He might finally be right!

Nokra
@stepee Also I think you meant "staved off", not "starved off".
