gamer.tv
I went on a two day, 55km walk with my father-in-law across Dartmoor. It was pretty tiring (not horrific), wonderful locations, beautiful sights, lots of wild ponies…though I did forget my roll mat and had the worst sleep ever.

Best
Camping outside used to be fun but after visiting cabins the last few years that has spoiled me. Not having a good sleeping arrangement in a tent is a disaster, too. I will say when it's peaceful at night and you're in your sleeping bag it can be very nice. Fizzzzle
Sounds fucking dope. Wild camping/backpacking/whatever you call it is something that you can't replicate. I hope you had a great time. I'd love to do it again in the western US, but it's like half the year it's illegal to light fires, and the other half it's cold and damp and miserable. No longer can you light an actual fire in Glacier in June. It was a unicorn of a time...
TheLeon
I love a nice long hike, but I need a bed and a roof.

I did the same thing with my father-in-law, but both being fans of the show, we went with a 'Naked and Afraid' type of experience. We both had a hard night, but would definitely do it again.
