I'm holding off on playing for now because the beta doesn't transfer over to the full game but definitely looking forward to the full release. Rev Posted January 29, 2022 Author Share Posted January 29, 2022 I played for about 5 hours yesterday. Pretty fun game imo. It has a few rough edges but it's a ton of fun to explore. I'm level 17 I think now and the repetitiveness of the combat and quests has burnt me out a bit. That’s too bad, it did look pretty early access from what I’ve read though yeah. I might like something like this in vr, but if it let me solo the whole thing and only engage with others if I felt like it. Not sure if you can do that here, but it seems like if you did, it wouldn’t be very fun yet. I don’t know why we get so few new releases that are like single player action adventure games with a story. I want more of those. Give us more ps2/gc ports if that’s what it takes I guess. You don't have to group with anyone but you'll find people doing quests or dungeon areas that you need to do and you can just jump in and fight alongside them without having to communicate with them at all or you can solo and ignore other people.
