Greatoneshere
Man Kenji Kamiyama is a busy man - he just announced the fall release of the Blade Runner: Black Lotus anime TV series that he's involved with (that is a prequel to Blade Runner 2049 similar to Shinichiro Watanabe's Blade Runner 2049 anime short film "Blade Runner Blackout 2022" that came out when the film released in theaters). I'm definitely interested as Kenji Kamiyama is an excellent anime writer and director. Here he'll be directing (not writing) but he's made some excellent anime. He's responsible for directing stuff like: -Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex/2nd GIG/Solid State Society/SAC_2045 -Patlabor: Mini Pato -Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit -Eden of the East/The King of Eden/Paradise Lost -009 Re:Cyborg -Cyborg 009: Call of Justice -Napping Princess (aka Ancien and the Magic Tablet) -Ultraman -Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 -Blade Runner: Black Lotus Almost all of those anime are winners (all except the Cyborg 009 stuff and SAC_2045, which are merely okay to good). So this could be real interesting. See below for details on Black Lotus (ignore the header image, which is of the Shinichiro Watanabe anime short film). Blade Runner: Black Lotus Anime Debuts This Fall on Adult Swim in Canada WWW.ANIMENEWSNETWORK.COM Directors Shinji Aramaki, Kenji Kamiyama had revealed last July that series would premiere this year
