The version 2 airpod pro is on sale for $200 at Costco which I thought was decent. I haven’t tried them out much besides just checking that the sound isolation works and is kewl but wanted to mention that sale in case someone else was lookin

That’s what I got. They are great paired up with my Switch.

THEY ARE FUCKING AMAZING. I’ve been using them a lot since I got them and have gotten to try them on trains, busses, airport, crowded casino floors, and the sound isolation especially for earbuds is unbelievable.

I’m at SFO right now and I can’t hear a damn thing it’s crazy. On the subway was the thing that it had the most trouble with, being unable to suppress the sound of the vibration and rumble, but it wasn’t loud and certainly doesn’t interfere with the music.

Im actually impressed with how much sound it can block out without even playing anything. And they are COMFY. Actually the new airpod style no longer fits in my ear regularly and I needed to get sleeves so they didn’t fall out. No issue with that here and I can forget I have them in. This is why I was hesitant to try them, I thought they would be significantly less comfy and I was wrong wrong wrong.

The switching between isolation and transparency works great too. Highly recommend making the jump to any airpod owner.

I have pairs of Airpods Pro 2 (had the original Pro then used the refund from the Amex extended warranty when one stop pairing to buy the 2), Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and the Bose earbuds. The Bose are the best for sound cancelling but even the first Airpods Pro were really damn close on that front. Noise cancellation on the Buds Pro 2 is middling but the microphones on the Bose are garbage there are times it's better to not have 100% sound isolation anyhow. I assume the Airpods microphones are good but I really only use them with my Mac.

And I do mean the Bose microphones are TERRIBLE, which is weird because the QC35ii mics are fine. Samsung earbuds people say they can hear background noise if I'm outside but that I come through fine. Bose earbuds people will say they can't hear me even if I'm in a quiet office.

A major step down from the Buds+ is that they went like 11 hours on a single charge while the Buds Pro 2 only last like 5, and I think even turning the noise cancelling off doesn't get you even close to 11.

Sounds like I’m good sticking with these then!  If the microphone is that bad it’s a no go because I use one in my ear for phone calls

edit: i would be curious to try the bose ones on bart to see if it can fully silence there though

T10BESPOKE.COM

Our incredibly cool T10 Bespoke collector Jim covets hi-fi audio but also vintage automobiles. In a tribute to a life well-lived, Jim challenged us to create a T10 Bespoke that would...

We carefully matched the red Cerakote exactly to the Rosso Corsa of his Ferrari, and also imported beautiful Mastrotto leather from Italy in the same color. Finally, we matched the Giallo Modena in his vintage key-chain badge to the cerakote used for the T10 ear computer top and bottom covers, and then created an intricate stencil to add hand-painted matching Ferrari-horses.

The end result was nothing short of spectacular, so we created a second one; which we now feature here so that another Ferrari aficionado can get in on the action. Here--the Ferrari badge in use was up-cycled from a 1960's era Ferrari button-hole closure.

If you'd like to create a tribute unit to your own favorite collector car--contact our concierge and we'll be happy to oblige!

Regular price$5,650.00 USD
