CitizenVectron
At first glance most of these things seem reasonable, but the end-result would actually be the deplatforming of online sex workers.

Jason
As was pointed out in the Ars Technica comments: Quote Hypothetical: I am filmed having sex. This video is uploaded to PornHub with a faked consent form. I discover the video and ask PornHub to remove it. They have to gather and store whatever information is necessary to add me to a "do not upload" list, which includes PII as well as confirmation somehow that I was in the video. When that data gets compromised (because like all data online, eventually, it will), not only do they have my PII but also they have a list of videos that I attest to appearing in. Who thought this was a good idea, again? https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2020/12/pornhub-squarely-targeted-in-bipartisan-bill-to-regulate-sex-work-online/?comments=1&unread=1 People there also think this will wind up having the effect of benefiting big players like Pornhub by squashing competition without the resources to comply with all this. I agree. It's the same reason that Facebook lobbies for additional regulation. They have enough money to build out whatever is necessary to comply with regulations, but any potential competitors would have a much harder time doing so. Especially when you have regs like this that require both technology solutions and additional manpower. Also, this bill would further entrench existing players like Pornhub by pushing out general purpose media platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and TikToc. Odds are many of them would completely ban adult images in order to avoid having to implement all this.
