People are leaving California because you can't live a decent life there because the cost of living(read: housing and transportation) is too high for non-incumbents and the upper middle class and above. Taxes are just icing on that cake. Worth noting that taxes are higher than they otherwise would be because of prop 13 essentially freezing property tax rates and low density SFH zoning working in concert restricting supply thus driving prices skyward

Facebook et al isn't going anywhere is because they're collecting data and sharing it with the US government (foreign focused and domestic) getting around those pesky fourth amendment concerns. Facebook won't go until the empire goes, folks.

Is there anything that can be limited with regard to guns then? Once again though, to take on gun violence we need nearly free/free mental (and all other) health care, environmental justice, and economic justice and opportunity. Everything else is lipstick on a pig tbh.
