Somewhat related but the funniest outcome would be the de facto abolition of the elected presidency if the house or senate refuses to meet to open and count the EVs. If the presidential succession act holds off legal challenges and the Speaker is Acting president and the EVs are never counted, then the House and speaker elections are effectively the presidential election every two years. This would create the worst goddamn parliamentary system of all time. And depending on how you read the 22nd amendment it would effectively limit the Speaker/acting president to two house terms (4 years) and in particular for the case of trump, he would no longer be president (acting or otherwise) after the 2026 midterm which is hilarious to me. I could also make a case for no term limits for the speaker/acting president as well just using the plain letter of the law man our garage constitution has so much room to play with the rules it isn’t actually funny (it’s sad!)

It’s funny/sad to watch so many cops gets decked out in hazmat suits for fentanyl but largely won’t wear a mask or enforce mask mandates to protect against the #1 cop killer: Covid-19 -
Well well well if it isn’t the consequences of America’s actions on immigration and housing that affects you guys.

You also need to expand transit (subway, regional rail, trolleys, busses, and alternative transportation) to go along with the increased density otherwise it’s a snarl of car traffic and actually sucks because instead of having cool, small green spaces, you need that space to store cars.

If Canada is anything like the U.S. then the same issues that are causing housing cost inflation in liberal/progressive areas are also present in right/conservatives areas.
