  1. Yes 100% I second this. It is AMAZING!!! I couldn’t believe how well they adapted it. The dialogue is almost exact from the comic, there’s a few extra lines I noticed to better explain what you can’t see. Dream has some more inner dialogue also to explain what he’s thinking(shown in the comic) and then Neil Gaiman is the narrator and he describes some of what you’d see as well. The cast is great and the production values are through the roof. This is a full on radio style production. Besides the full cast there’s music/score and sound effects. I actually would listen to a few books then go and reread them in the actual comic. Wonderful experience and I recommend it to everyone.

Good for you, I guess? Weird flex but okay lol

He wasn’t flexing and didn’t say it in any kind of aggressive or insulting way. Chill.

Now myself on the other hand....The whole length of this thing has become such an utter asinine talking point. It’s not an unheard of length for a movie. It’s rare but not some great unexplored frontier to have a 4 hour movie. Gettysburg, Lawrence of Arabia, Gone With the Wind are all 4 hour movies. Not to mention that despite its obvious bloat The Snyder Cut is relatively well paced so it doesn’t seem as long.

I finished it in one sitting. It wasn’t hard. I enjoyed it. If anyone couldn’t finish it in one sitting than I declare them to be a moron.

Now THAT is a weird flex.

  3. I loved it.

Like Skillz said these are hands down the dumbest most nonsensical humans to date. They sucked in the previous two Godzilla movies(I actually really enjoy them in Skull Island) but at least there was that sort of dark sense of mystery. This is just straight silly the whole time.

The monster battles are incredible. The best on film to date. I just want to watch a 2 hour battle good lord.

The score is brilliant. It reminded me of the scores from old 80’s fantasy movies and really added a sense of wonder to the scenes. Absolutely loved the music.

All in all Skull Island is still my favorite. And I missed the dark brooding look from the previous two Godzilla movies. But the fighting, dear god the fighting is so fantastic. I hope they keep this universe going but if this was the finale then what a great send off.

Ugh, not sure about the devastator.  Kind liked it, but the third power ain't doing much for me, and now I'm getting stuck on the captain on the way to the solar tower.  Mainly though cuz it seems to be glitching.  This captain seems a lot more powerful than the other 2 times I ran through this, and I end up "killing" him, and and he turns into a red blob, it just sits there, and then he comes back at full strength.  Which is some bullshit.

Yeah I had that happen a few times but then other times he just died. Was never able to figure out what causes him to turn into the blob then respawn.

After watching this, I'm surprised at the number of people that think this is a good movie. This is not the complete train wreck the theatrical release is, but as far as I'm concerned it's still a remarkably bad movie. Sure, Cyborg is a character as opposed to not being one, but the rest of the League is free from any development. Sure, the villian has a motivation, but he's also reduced to being a glorified henchman, while Darksied does all of nothing other than appear in a LOTR style flashback. The mcguffins are better explained in this, but they're still stupid and they added a whole new mcguffin that isn't explained at all. Some of the action is slightly better, but that was far from the biggest sin of the original.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a film that is still fighting in the dumpster to be king of the trash pile. I haven't re-watched BvS or the theatrical release, but it's clearly still in a league with those films rather than contending to be an actually decent film like Wonder Woman or most of the MCU.

    Nope

The comics lead into the games... they tell one long ass story. Brilliantly done. There's a series that leads into the first game and then several series that take place between the two games. Then there's one that takes place AFTER the second game. They even bring fucking HEMAN and the Masters of the Universe into it :p

    He Man????? Mother FUCKING SOLD

  7. So I just finished watching it and I’d give it a solid 8/10 I really really liked it.

It’s not without its faults obviously. The first 90 minutes are VERY long. I never got bored but the set up is the one part of the movie where I actively thought “I don’t think we really needed that”

There’s def some goofy Snyder stuff in there. I actually like the music he puts in his movies but I know a lot don’t.

Cyborg’s story is 1000 times better and more fleshed out. He’s borderline the main character in this cut.

I thought the set up to deciding to bring back Superman and actually bringing him back was way better. Due to the length he actually feels gone in this movie and his return works a lot better. In the Whedon cut it felt like he was just kind of on a break and they didn’t really miss him/need him.

The ending was FANTASTIC. Snyder really stuck the landing. The final battle is great and all the nods to the DCEU are perfect. It really does an amazing job of setting up that universe. After the Whedon cut I was pretty over the EU idea. Just give me stand alone movies. But after watching the Snyder cut I 100% want them to green light the whole EU again. I’m invested now damnit haha.

At the end of the day some will really like it, some won’t and some won’t even give it a chance because Snyder. But I think it’s really cool that a director was give the opportunity to go back and make his vision. I think with a great editor this easily could have been cut down into a legit GREAT film. But at the same time it’s really cool as a viewer to get to see a movie as the Director sees it. Even if that means sitting through a good chunk of bloat or silliness. It’s kind of a peak behind the curtain. And maybe it’ll make us appreciate that “Oscar for Editing in a Feature Film” award even more. @skillzdadirecta you do gods work lol
