My wife and I have been contemplating for the last year or so on where we want to move to, staying in California seems like a pipe dream. One of our possible choices is Texas and I asked my wife yesterday if she was ready for the occasional freeze. she wasn't sure lol, and I told her whatever we buy in Texas, we'd have to set up solar panels and have some sort of back generator on stand by.

I love that look when done right, volume better than flat hair. Again, I love that look.

Well, my wife got her second dose of the moderna vaccine this afternoon. It's only been about 4-5 hours but she's doing well so far. 2 of her co-workers got their second dose today, as well. Both of them went in the morning and started feeling mild symptoms by early evening, like body aches and head aches. No fevers. Hope my wife feels fine tomorrow.

Ridiculous. Makes me feel grateful that at least my wife is getting her second dose sometime this coming week and that my sister (medical assistant) got her first dose this past Thursday. Who knows when I or the rest of my family/friends will get a chance to get ours.

The only going out we do is to pick up Target groceries curb side, otherwise we do Target, Walmart, Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods delivery for groceries and other things. I may go out to home depot to pick up lumber for a project I want to do at some point, but we'll see. Also, my wife, who is a social worker/case manager, normally works with people (many of them homeless) in person. Currently and luckily she has been working from home, doing things remotely by phone and email. But because her work doesn't know how soon they'll get back into the office, they managed to get everyone appointments to get the Moderna vaccine. She went in for her first dose a few weeks ago, with the second dose scheduled next week. No reactions with the first dose, just mild soreness for a few days at the injection site. Hopefully the same the second time around.

sigh... i am trying to learn new skills so I can move to a different job.

Pro, eventually I'll get the PS5 but probably not for a few years or whenever the first price drop happens... whichever happens first. She got me the physical copy, I believe it says I can swap for a digital copy of the PS5 version or something like that. Oof, that's kind of rough and disappointing. Damn I was so hyped for this, it's a shame it's such a mess. Now I'm not so sure if I want to risk trying on PC.

Ahh kind of a bummer, she's asking me why I haven't played it yet but been hesitant to open it. Maybe I can have her get a refund or something, maybe get it on PC instead but not sure how my old gaming rig would handle it... haven't really used it much until the last week or so. It's i5-8600k stock, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB.

My irrelevant 2 cents.... All of these shows suck. The Office especially. Seinfeld got old fast. Friends was okay during the first few seasons but turned to shit quickly. Cheers just never got into it so I won't say anything about it. What else did I see above...? That 70's Show was great in the beginning but also turned to shit. The simpsons too. Fuck them all.
