  1. You don’t need an invite, just search for “dayone” and it will show up and you can join. Also omg it has rotating Capcom arcade games you can play in the lobby that is so damn cool Also Lilly rules
  2. The difference is when people move south to north it’s because they are doing well but when they move north to south they got their jobs took.
  3. Not good news about the shipping! I just ordered mine so I guess I better start thinking like a month! I think I’ll be alright though - oh and sorry everyone but x-real has some interesting 3dof stuff that I want to play with so I’m keeping those
  4. So I have been messing with other stuff on the laptop and haven’t tried 3D yet but I’m playing SF6 on it right now and it works great. I didn’t need to do anything besides plug it in and then just start gaming on the second large screen. I’m sure you can change it so they are separated but it’s kinda nice how both screens look normal at the same time. I had some fun just comparing the quality of oled to the micro led. It’s definitely a good solution to get the convenient feeling of playing a handheld in bed but with the power of a gaming laptop. The little speakers by the ears actually helps drown out the noise from the laptop too. Definitely make sure to get a rokid and not xreal as with a laptop you really want that 120hz connection. I’m going to have to get a pair now because especially for anything dlss3 you really want that 120.
  5. lmao so I’m really high and watching South Park while playing SF6 and you know it has kind of a hip hop soundtrack going on and then all of the sudden “fuck the police” comes on and I was just fighting and then I’m like wait they seriously put fuck the police in Street Fighter?!?!! I was about to go online to see how to high five someone at Capcom when I realized it was coming from South Park.
  6. Yeah I looked it up but it’s ridiculous :P Game looks so nice tho Edit: Even though it’s cross gen it’s still a bigger generational leap in rendering over five than SF5 was over SF4.
  7. An “internal resolution” setting with no explanation with just a scale of 1-5 has got to be the stupidest pc game setting I’ve seen this year so far
  8. Yeah each fighter has a little story of their own. It’s just like an opening and closing though. But it gives you a reason to beat it as everyone. It’s kind of like the arcade mode stories in SF5. I’m still looking forward to starting story mode but I had hoped that the story mode would have you playing as the street fighters instead of a custom character.
  9. I wish I could have been okay with a 16” laptop, I think if you are, there are a lot better options out there. Besides performing better the 16” Zephyus model has the micro led screen but with twice the dimming zones and 1100nit vs 650nit. I’m really happy with this screen, it looks amazing, but that just makes me think that the 16” mode one must really be something. But alas, I even tried going to the store to check out 16” models in person and convince myself of the size but it’s just a deal breaker for me.
  10. I will buy it at the following price points based on this scale: 90+ $50 (msrp) 85+ $40 80+ $35 75+ $30 70+ $25 65+ $20 60+ $15 50+ $10 40+ $5 -40 EGS weekly free game
  11. Idk how ff16 will do but I just mean the biggest evidence that square has been out of touch with what people want is feels
  12. Idk if this is right. FF15 might not be super popular on message boards but it looks like it’s the best selling Final Fantasy (and Square periord outside of when they owned tomb raider) game besides Final Fantasy 7. And FF14 is hugely successful. And FFR was a huge hit as well. Maybe this game bombs but I’m not seeing a pattern up until now. Final Fantasy XV becomes Square's Fourth Best Selling Game | WePC WWW.WEPC.COM Final Fantasy XV has gone against all the odds and became the fourth best-selling game in Square Enix's catalog, selling over 10 million copies since it
  13. lol yeah I can’t help but laugh at this when they do the delayed pc release going you buy it twice thing - and I know they released something saying that they need to focus on the ps5 version first but also thats bullshit
  14. I think so, the way it asks for such a huge % as default puts me off from ever doing so tho
  15. Yeah I spent so long looking at laptops and it came to the fact that what I wanted doesn’t seem to exist right now so I had to find the one closest to matching. Biggest issues with this one are the fans are loud and it’s micro led instead of oled. I will say the micro per screen IS great and probably is the case for any micro led laptop, so if you can’t find oled with what you want maybe look for that. I definitely had to overpay to even get close to what I wanted right now. I just wanted a 14” 4080 laptop with an oled screen but there isn’t one.
  16. I’ll be trying them out tonight with 3D Mario Galaxy 2!
  17. Sometimes there will be a side activity that is just super fun in an open world game and then I will push through on harder challenges on those. It really depends on how fun the actual activity is. Saints Row 2022 had some ones I liked.
  18. Very few specific things, usually 2D stuff can still work for me with try over and over challenges. Katana Zero, Celeste, Hollow Knight until it kept going, Castlevania is pretty hard and one of my fav series and now Bloodstained I love and the 8bit sequels. Stuff like that. Big open games with a hundred hours of content and most story based things and anything I would want to play on my tv instead of on a handheld I want an easy mode.
  19. One of the reasons I wanted to try a gaming laptop again was also because I had a feeling 4000 series with dlss3 would be a fantastic for laptops getting that extra power that doesn’t hurt the power budget. Not disappointed so far! That definitely seems when this is the closest to my desktop, I’m going to have to up my PureDark monthly donation to make sure those dlss3 patches keep coming. And this should be pretty close actually to a regular 4080 laptop because it’s really restrained since it’s a 14” and those I’ve seen close to just 2k. That boost to the laptop cpu is just so huge.
  20. I never actually played much of the first one, so I am anticipating that.
  21. There’s a debate to be and which to get I think if you are just using Q3 as a stand alone. Then if what you really want is to see modern games in VR you’d probably want to get a psvr2. But since you have a pc, you definitely want to get a Q3. I love the hardware for psvr2, and there’s some good stuff to play from the launch, but Sony hasn’t shown good signs it’s going to get a lot of future support yet. Quest 3, even if they did drop support, which is more unlikely imo, you still have a headset that works with steamvr on pc, so you’re still good. Really disappointed that Q3 doesn’t have eye tracking, hdr, and an oled display. Seems a lot less forward thinking than psvr2, I’m only hoping there is a huge fov jump to make up for that. I didn’t see anything on what the fov is.
