  1. GMG has it for 16% off (~$50) so I said F it and bought it. I only played the tutorial missions but performance is fine outside of the huge amounts of stuttering during the initial attack/whatever animations.
  2. SC produces more peaches than GA and is overly proud of their peaches: it's a rivalry with GA.
  3. With the god awful fried food candidates would eat to appeal to Iowans, I always assumed that not dropping dead of a heart attack was part of vetting process. Now we’re going to see everyone eating boiled peanuts. Sure, SC has their pork bbq, but I feel like that’s more of a slow killer. Edit: Oh, F, I just remembered SC is known for their peaches. I don’t want to see candidates sucking on a peach. NOBODY WANTS THIS
  4. Did you ever try the alpha benchmark/tech-demo? https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/download-atomic-heart-technology-demo.html
  5. I was hyped when it was announced, all hype disappeared to the point that I forgot about it when it was shown to be a card-based battle system, after watching reviews hype has returned.
  6. It might drop from whatever group you kill first. Did you follow the lore to the realm and new area? This is the one I mentioned got spoiled for me the other week when I searched for “what to do after beating the main story”, btw. Literally in the f’n numbered list title with zero warning instead of in the description
  7. Is the patch out? Mine didn’t update. I tried playing on my TV for the first time since launch and almost went blind
  8. NOW GIVE ME MY CYBERPUNK DLSS3 UPDATE DAMN IT
  9. Oh wow, nice. Did Biomutant ever get a 60fps patch for PS5? I know people were upset when it released because it ran at 60 on XSX (with frame-boost or whatever the feature is called that enhances previous gen games) but not on PS5, but it had to do with how XSX can boost Xbone games and wasn't the devs slighting PS5.
  10. I don’t disagree, but that’s also not what my initial post was discussing. I do want to mention that the estimated price increase doesn’t seem to be taking the 15%+ inflation of 2020-now into account as well. If we go by the 12gb 3080, $800 from then until now is now over $920, with the $700 8gb 3080 it’s now about $810, take into account the additional ram and newer tech (we also don’t know if semiconductor costs are greater than +15% compared to the 3000 release) then a ~$1k price is likely most comparable to previous non-Ti xx80 series releases. With other unknowns, $1.1k tops. The 4080 is overpriced by at least $100 no matter how you cut it when compared to previous xx80 cards, but I’m only talking about it’s price-to-performance ratio vs the 4090, and the 4080 being written off as a bad value that makes no sense at $1200 when compared to the $1600 4090. I wouldn’t recommend a 4080, I was just surprised at the breakdown showing it a better price-to-performance value than the 4090 given the sentiment/headlines stating the opposite. It’s also worth noting that the 4080 seems to get a noticeable boost from OCing closing the performance gap more. I’ve been telling people who don’t want to spend $1.6k to hold off and “wait for real AMD 7900XT/X benchmarks” before deciding.
