  1. I can't imagine anyone I would like to leave Canadian politics more... Well, JT, Melanie Joly and PP are all up there too.

They say this may be related to the stabbing rampage that happened in the province on Sunday.
  3. Parole records reveal Saskatchewan suspect's violent history | CBC News WWW.CBC.CA Myles Sanderson’s parole documents paint a picture of a violent offender with a long record of assault, alcohol and drug abuse and intimate partner violence.
  4. Bold NFL prediction -- the AFC West won't be as good as the media are making them out to be.

  6. You're right, the risk of myocarditis is lower after the booster -- but so are the benefits. The risk of myocarditis has resulted in Moderna boosters being banned in young men in many places. The Pfizer booster is more safe, but even with the risk of Myocarditis being very low: 1) The risk of serious illness is already exceptionally low among this group, and the benefit of a booster is negligible 2) Some studies have shown that booster efficacy in teens against infection peaks at ~68% at 27 days, and falls to ~ 6% by 2-months. Any risk is hard to justify, when the booster provides very little benefit.
  7. I'm not sure which is worse, the racists who keep focusing on the races of casting, or the journalists who give air time to articles on extremist obscure websites.
  8. True fact: Saskatchewan has the highest murder rate in Canada (in 2020) -- almost triple that of Ontario, and five times higher than Quebec. Regina had the highest murder rate of any metropolitan area in Canada in 2021.
  9. There isn't much of a consensus among experts. Some authorities are suggesting boosters every 90-days. Others, much longer. It's becoming a complicated mess; in some cases the health risks of a booster may outweigh the benefits (i.e. men under 24 due to the risk of myocarditis). However, If you want to completely protect against infection, it looks like you probably need a booster every 90-days but this doesn't seem to translate into much benefit against serious illness/death.
  10. One of them has been "at large" since May. It could take months to find them -- the two teens who shot people in '19 were eventually found dead 2000 km away from the crime, almost a month later. These guys, who have already been on the run for months...
  11. One of the local Chiefs has suggested it is Drug related. We use a Smart Lock, which is way more convenient. I have friends that have locks with keypads. The only time I have seen the lockboxes is for AirBnBs and for real estate agents showing houses.
  12. The best part of this announcement are the inane analogies that are going on in the Twitter wars tonight.
  13. He was also Obama's Economic Policy Director, and led Obama's Council of Economic Advisors for 4-years. So, clearly, a GOP shill.
  14. I can only speak for Ontario, but Covid boosters are far from unique. If you're getting the recommended list of vaccines from your pediatrician, you are getting much more than the ones with a vaccine mandate. Annual Influenza, IPD, Rot-1, Hep B, HPV are all recommended for school age children here, but not mandated.
