All I know is that, the Democrats have wasted a lot of political capital the last 6 months on the reconciliation deal, only to have both that deal and infrastructure almost get scuttled. They are on the verge of being just as dumb and ineffective as the GOP congress from 2016-2018. I don't think they want to be compared to those losers!

In some European countries, tear gas pistols are sold that look and feel like real firearms that fire real bullets, but the barrel has obstructions in it that would prevent a bullet from travelling down it, and instead fire out a concentrated stream of tear gas.
