1. Corpo. Was an interesting choice since the big bad is... a corp and gives some fun choices along the way. Although I ended up
2. I also finished it tonight. Great game. I'm pretty satisfied with my ending, even after looking up the other ones.
3. Yeah I dunno either But other people were using spoilers and there was nothing in the subject title saying it was open, so I was erring on the side of caution.
4. I think you'll want to spoiler your text since I don't think we're being open in this thread? (I did it in my of you). That said,
5. The console version is total and utter garbage. It looks like poop, runs like poop, and is buggy. The PC version is pretty demanding but on a high end system looks great and the bugs are not super out of the ordinary. Perhaps the worst part of it all though, is CDPR's management team seems determined to keep making things worse in their handling.
6. I think you're just misunderstanding the system. The blue choices are all optional dialog that may (but often do not if they're just info gatheing) affect the dialog tree, but you don't even have to say any of them. However, you must always choose a yellow dialog option to advance the conversation. If there is only one yellow dialog option, then you can't avoid it by making an optional blue response. When there are multiple yellow dialog options, then you do have to suffer the consequences of your chosen response of them. (For some the consequences may be minimal, for others your choices can be as extreme as leading to fights to the death or not.) On some occasions, you'll also be forced to choose one of multiple yellow options on a time limit and have to think quickly about what you want to say.
7. I'm not sure how the 1080 factors into this. If you just run on the 2080 my guess is you should be able to run it fine, but probably with minimal ray tracing.
8. Yeah I'm pretty sure CDPR's blundered response forced this situation. If I were one of their developers I'd be so fucking livid with management and the execs.
9. I'm over 40 hours in and it hasn't crashed once for me. The worst bug I had was the voice in a conversation stopped playing and I had to reload. And I guess there's the crappy cop/NPC thing, but if I didn't see that on the internet I wouldn't have known because I don't play the game in a way that that gets the cops after me. But I do believe that it runs poorly on lots of people's hardware unless you have a pretty new GPU.
10. If you have that much wealth to lose, Yes, it's a very good game with some bugs on PC. Already my game of the year. We'll see where I land with it when all is said and done.
11. I pick at the skin around my nails. I also get basically zero exercise and I've finally reached an age where that's starting to be a problem
12. Yup, this is what I'm talking about right here! I do mantis blades with a highly-leveled blades tree and double jump. So damn good. My patterns tends to be to use silenced pistol, sniper rifle, and take downs (with appropriate hacks intermixed) when I'm being stealthy, and once all hell breaks loose, mantis blades time.
13. I'm really digging the motorcycles, but that looks sweet as hell.
14. There might be another option if you want a new PC anyway. The way I got mine is I knew I wanted a whole new PC anyway, so I just bought a prebuilt PC with one as soon as they were released. It was a far more relaxed channel to secure one because most people are trying to buy the individual cards. I bought a Cyberpowerpc which is pretty good bang for the buck. And looking at their site now, I think you can in fact order one with a 3xxx card. If you're cool with that, try customizing this PC: Customize Gamer Infinity 8800 Pro Gaming PC WWW.CYBERPOWERPC.COM Gamer Infinity 8800 Pro
Intel® Core™ Processor i7-10700K
16GB DDR4/3000MHz RAM
ASUS PRIME Z490-V ATX Motherboard
1TB WD Blue SN550 M.2 NVME SSD + 4TB HDD Combo
Windows 10 Home Or one of the others. That's an intel one, whereas I built a 3900x AMD CPU based one. Point is though, it looks like they have cards in stock if you are willing to buy a whole PC. EDIT: Here is an AMD base CPU you can customize: Customize Gamer Ultra 3070 Gaming PC WWW.CYBERPOWERPC.COM Gamer Ultra 3070
AMD Ryzen™ 7 5800X Processor
16GB DDR4/3000MHz RAM
GIGABYTE X570 UD Motherboard
1TB WD Blue SN550 M.2 PCIe SSD
Windows 10 Home
15. My somewhat baseless speculation is you could probably get a 3xxx card within a couple of months if you are fairly active in using bots. If you're not I think it might still be hard.
16. I feel ya. I would stick with it since you're playing on PC though. I was fine with the intro as it was, but it's absolutely worth pushing a little further because it really explodes. I'm reminded that back in 2000 my best friend and I both got the original Deus Ex, played a little and were kind of bored. Then one day my friend decided to just push through further and then was calling me on the phone telling me I have to keep going because it got so good. I did, and the original Deus Ex is still one of my favorite games ever made
17. So you feel lied to about the nudity in the game because you specifically cannot have V walk around the city completely nude and devoid of any other context, even though there is probably more nudity in this game than almost any other game released (aside from literal sex games)?
18. I think asking how it differentiates itself *in the early game* isn't really a helpful question, because by design the main thing that differentiates itself depends on building up your character. I mean, most of those games in their early game don't really differentiate from each other either. Even Doom opens up the more you play and unlock and otherwise is superficially similar to other shooters at the start. The core early game core shooting is, however, much better than Fallout and Deus Ex, however (and I love Deus Ex, FWIW)
