Big if true. -
No, there were 6 crewed moon landings. Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17.

What I said isn't meta at all? -
These kinds of things are always fascinating. To the best of my knowledge, we used domesticated animals for labor and riding for thousands of years before yokes and saddles were invented. Just a bunch of assholes riding bareback and nobody thought, "perhaps a cushion," or, "2 oxen could schlep a larger plow if they worked together."

I wonder how the ST is going to be viewed in the future. I think people will look fondly on TFA, I think at some point the chatter around TLJ will focus largely on the things that the movie does right. Rise though... I dunno. I'd say the PT movie that ate the most shit in real time was Phantom Menace but even then people vibed to Duel of the Fates, people bought pod racing toys and they made video games that took place in that era. For the ST we have... Battlefront II and the Lego games? It'll be interesting. -
Yeah this seems like it. Part of the appeal in something like MCP is someone like Hulk yeeting bits of terrain at Doc Ock and this seems to be leaning into that more with a Star Wars flair. I think MCP has done well for AMG and Legion continues to do well, so I suspect this should be solid also. Kinda hard to tell with non GW games since those suck the air out of the room; finding players for other games is a much more "local" affair.

The show’s change in tone has coincided with Din’s character development; I think this is one of the more effective things the show has more relaxed vibes. Now he’s giving Grogu paintball guns and he gets to let Lizzo cheat at bocce. Season 4 premier will be him and Bo-Katan having helmeted sex while Grogu freebases death sticks in its darkest arc yet. -
The first part defiantly isn’t ringing a bell, but the first Bella sisters encounter defiantly has a limit; I didn’t leave that room until everyone was dead. EDIT - I know the first part now. Yeah that one is finite too, but the parts that trigger more mobs are not super obvious. And in both cases it’s a bunch of ganados for sure.

SWCE 2023: Three New Star Wars Movies Announced | StarWars.com WWW.STARWARS.COM Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed three new Star Wars films from James Mangold, Dave Filoni, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Hey, I'm for it. Directors look good, concepts sound fun, excited about three eras of nonsense. Super pumped that Filoni might get to "finish" his arcs in a movie. Also I hope the Rey movie involves Rey turning her lightsaber into the colors of the trans flag while her, Finn, and Rose establish a Jedi Order governed by their polycule, motherfuckers die mad.

This show is great. I'm happy that between this, Andor, The Last Jedi, etc., we get to see more of what life is like in the galaxy. As it pertains to The Mandalorian specifically, I think the show is strong enough that you can have episodes that diverge from Din and Grogu, even for a few in a row if they decide to go that route. I can't imagine they'll ever just push the duo to the side; their appeal is strong enough that they show up in other shows. But if they wanna do a Bo arc, or an armorer arc, yeah, sure, why not. With the inevitable reappearance of Moff Gideon it's clear that Din / Grogu are the gravitational center of the show, but the stuff in their orbit is interesting and fun, too. As for Mandalorians generally, they have such a funny place in the canon. They're fierce, proud warriors, but they take Ls in almost any conflict greater than a skirmish. They're proud of their family and Mandalorian heritage, but you know, if this dude from another planet has the Darksaber I guess we gotta bolt horns onto our helmets now. Everyone's got FTL ships and they love Mandalore, but nobody takes the 15 minutes it would take to figure out the planet isn't ACTUALLY cursed. Anyway Lizzo being in Star Wars fucking rules and this episode was a lot of fun.
