  1. It may have! But I can't say 100 percent.
  2. As Congress tackles the second stimulus bill, Senator Kamala Harris again calls for $2000 a month.
  3. That last valkyrie felt like a Souls boss, for realsies. You'll die in a few hits, but if you play close attention to her tells, you'll win, and it'll be exhilerating. I died in the most hysterical way once time. I had her down, I just needed to press one prompt to finally defeat her, and then I stepped on some fire she set and I burned myself to death because I had 1 HP left. Oh you sweet summer child. By that, I just mean if this is impressing you now, you're going to love discovering new abilities over the course of the adventure. I'm pretty sure the post was deleted during the purge of 2018, but @Xbob42 gave a very well-written description of the game's pros, and one of them was how you really, truly felt rewarded for exploring. There are objects to knock down or break in so many places which will give you materials for good gear, there may be a side path there you want to explore, and once you do, oh shit, it's a Runic Attack and it's now my favorite Runic Attack. Shit, just talking about this makes me want to go back to it once I finish Ghost of Tsushima/Persona 5/Ace Attorney. Fuck!
  4. Yup, same. I may stealth a few people, but it feels better to basically do what your uncle encouraged you to do. Also, this game and Horizon Zero Dawn are wrote beautiful to traverse at night. Probably more so for Horizon since it seemed colorful at night. This game looks lovely as well, but it has a beautiful color palette to explore during the day.
  5. I know they're milking the hell out of V, but a next gen GTA6 with many more interior places would be really cool. That's a big part of what has me excited for Cyberpunk.
  6. Speaker function was/is nice to have for that; I dig it a lot. The Platinum headset sounds pretty damn sweet if @Rick2101 is looking for that 3D audio. I'm using it for Ghost of Tsushima currently.
  7. Oh yes it is. More exploration/discovery in this.
  8. The posts were deleted. Everyman and Engel were trying to recreate Stormfront. Everyman said, "Freeing the slaves was one of the biggest mistakes the white man made." And then Engel said that. And then Everyman was such a wuss that when I called him out on it, he went "herp derp no I never said that!" Because racists are wussies. Fuck both of those losers.
  9. If you thought jigs was bad, engel's actual racism (guy actually said he wished the white race wouldn't have gone down without a fight) was terr-bul.
  10. They live in a bubble where things they dislike aren't watched or consumed much, so when they hear all the late night shows they dislike saw big ratings boosts, or newspapers they dislike get a bump in subscribers, or games/shows/movies they like earn tons of money, they'll pull their muscles doing mental gymnastics to convince themselves that these things are actually failing. When something does do poorly, they credit themselves.
  11. I picked a good time to get the Platinum headset. 3D audio option. Game looks wonderful so far. I'm only 60 seconds in
  12. Headlines: 1. Hardware spending declined 17% year-to-year, the first decline since February 2020. Year-to-date spending increased 25% compared to a year ago, however, to $1.6 billion. 2. June 2020 spending on Accessories and Game Cards reached $417 million, increasing 29 percent when compared to a year ago. Year-to-date spending has increased 15 percent, to $2.0 billion. Both dollar sales totals represent all-time highs. 3. New dollar sales records for a June month were set across a number of Accessories categories including Gamepads, Headsets/Headphones, Steering Wheels and Controller Enhancements. 4. The Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller was the best-selling Accessory of June and 2020 year-to-date (dollar sales). 5. NPD says HW down YoY likely due to combo of stockouts/reopening. Ring Fit Advenutre's huge jump just from having stock. Hello P4G, it's been a while, good to see you again. TLOU2 month 1 exceeded my expectations. 6. The Last of Us Part II was a monster of a game. It's already the 3rd best-selling game of 2020, it generated the highest launch month dollar sales of any 2020 title, and it's the 2nd biggest launch for a Sony published game in history (Marvel's Spider-Man is #1). From NPD: "Quick note on time in market... The Last of Us: Part II did have fewer days in market in its launch month than Marvel's Spider-Man. The Last of Us: Part II launched Jun 19th with tracking through Jul 4th. Marvel's Spider-Man launched Sep 7th with tracking through Oct 6th." Top 20 Best-Selling Games: 1. The Last of Us: Part II 2. 13. Republican-turned-Independent Justin Amash will not seek reelection.
  14. Huh. Twas not a major criticism of the game. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to control Atreus while fighting with Kratos.
