  1. Great to hear. Remember folks that it's not over till it's over: I checked in on someone who doesn't normally vote (didn't in 2012 or 2016), and he's voting Biden 100% no matter what Trump tries to pull. I'm catching up with a close friend today and while she's normally a Republican voter, she's one of those actual moderates. Gonna chat with her a little and make my plea. Speak to a few people you trust and give them your pitch. You're not guaranteed they follow, but if everyone talks to three people, that's potential millions of additional Biden votes.
  2. @Brick is correct. Best gameplay, some of the most memorable gameplay moments, and a good balance between ME1's RPG customization (cutting some of the fat) and ME2's more gameplay focus. Or, and if you have Wrex alive, it has all my favorite Wrex moments, plus Citadel. Based on the choices, though, the renegade side is upped considerably. ME1 Renegade: I'm gonna be a dick. ME3 Renegade: Hitler
  3. The story has gotten no traction considering it's riddled with holes and comes from Sloppy Steve Bannon and Giuliani and conveniently dropped after Trump's phony investigation showed nothing. Best not to give it any oxygen.
  4. I just haven't seen you on the CEB in a while, sans I think the marijuana thread. And I know Scalia dying had you kind of spooked years ago about the court's complexion, so I wanted to know what you were thinking about the Court's likely yank to the right. Your response is what I expected, but I got you to post a couple times here and not the sports board so success!
  5. George Lucas' Vision for the 'Star Wars' Sequel Trilogy Revealed WWW.SLASHFILM.COM A few pieces of concept art show off the only George Lucas sequel trilogy ideas that were in play before J.J. Abrams started over with The Force Awakens.
  6. I think @Chris- was asking how you can possibly claim that. It was obvious from the beginning that he understands the universe (much of the criticism against him ironically comes from a fundamental misunderstanding of who the characters are), but it's just more apparent now. "That's not how Luke would act." According to the creator of Star Wars, it is. It shouldn't matter regardless because he's not the one directing the movie, but when the argument is, "This isn't Star Wars," there needs to be something to substantiate that.
  7. In addition to Florida's game with LSU being postponed due to COVID within Florida's ranks, Alabama coach Nick Saban has COVID:
  8. How Biden and Trump are spending money in Florida's markets: And here's how these places voted the past three elections:
  9. Here he comes. Obama to hit the campaign trail for Biden in final stretch WWW.CNN.COM Former President Barack Obama is expected to hit the campaign trail next week, Democratic officials tell CNN, as he looks to step up his work in support of his one-time partner -- former Vice President Joe Biden -- in the final stretch of the election. Interestingly, Trump has more people out campaigning for him than Biden. That's the reverse of 2016 when Hillary had Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Al Gore, Tim Kaine, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren crisscrossing the country in the final week of the election.
  10. Trump will be doing a town hall on NBC as Biden does a town hall on ABC. NBC News to host town hall with Trump on Thursday WWW.NBCNEWS.COM Moderated by TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie, the event will take place out doors and be socially distanced.
  11. Unlike Hillary's emails, I've been leaning toward the idea that people aren't going to fall for it. It's easy to go, "But the average American blah blah to the blah," but anecdotally, I know plenty of "low-information" voters who pay attention to more things than you'd realize, and something from Bill Barr is seen as partisan and a way to try to shake up the polls. It's different from the FBI, which an average person would consider an independent organization going into Hillary's emails in 2016 and play into Hillary's long-sunk trustworthiness numbers. Can't say that with 100% certainty, but if you asked me point-blank, I'd say I don't think Bill Barr launching a long-feared surprise investigation/probe is actually going to do what people fear it would do.
  12. Washington Post: Barr's 'unmasking' investigation concludes without charges WWW.CNN.COM The US attorney tasked by Attorney General William Barr to review instances of "unmasking" done around the 2016 election has completed the probe without bringing any charges, people familiar with the matter told The Washington Post. Anyone know what QAnon reactions are?
  13. My favorite Wolf Blitzer moment was when he was prank called by someone associated with or a viewer of Howard Stern and he fucking thanked them for calling.
  14. http://www.latimes.com//favicon-16x16.png AMC Theatres says it's running out of cash as studios flee 2020 WWW.LATIMES.COM AMC Theatres, the world's biggest cinema chain, says its cash reserves could be largely depleted by the end of this year or early 2021.
  15. Whitehouse talks about the dark money and Federalist society, plus the Republican platform, all campaigning/funding to reverse Roe v Wade, reverse the legalization of gay marriage, and take down the Affordable Care Act.
