General Gaming Cyperpunk's delisting is a warning for cross-gen
SaysWho? replied to crispy4000's topic in The Spawn Point
Delisting and stuff being pulled from stores is a warning for digital in general. It's like when Amazing Spider-Man 2 was pulled. Some of the reactions were, "And nothing of value was lost," but the point is that because of copyright involving songs in games or the IP itself, these kind of games can be pulled and unable to buy, whether it's that or Scott Pilgrim. And one without a physical release becomes impossible to play. -

GEE ZUZ, the base Xbox gets crushed on a different level. Grainy, blurry, sub-720p at times, freezing for nearly a minute, teens FPS, holy shit. Pro/One X seem to be decent if you want to play it (in terms of performance it looks like it's Pro >> XBOX >>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>XBO), and PS5/XSX gives much a much better performance as you'd expect, but I decided to wait until it comes to current gen.

SaysWho? posted a topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Good shit so far. But one small misstep takes him from the st... Soul review – Pixar's rapturous tale of a jazz nut on a surreal out-of-body journey | Film | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM There’s not much logic involved in this weird and wonderful story of a pianist who is accidentally transported to a strange, otherworldly domain 'Soul' Review: Pixar's Jazzy Existential Celebration Is One of the Studio's Very Best WWW.INDIEWIRE.COM The first entry in the Pixar canon to center on a Black character is a magical crowdpleaser that embodies the Pixar Touch. Soul is a sweet mash-up of earlier, deeper Pixar adventures FILM.AVCLUB.COM Pixar's latest, Soul, is an appealing hodgepodge of past triumphs—a little of Coco’s afterlife adventure, lassoed to the high concept of director Pete Docter’s previous film for the studio, Inside Out. ‘Soul’ Review: From the Minds Behind ‘Inside Out’ Comes an Even Deeper Look at What Makes People Tick VARIETY.COM Pixar gives audiences a fresh way to think about the dimension that defines their personality in a cartoon with a predominantly Black cast. There are a few more lukewarm positive reviews, of course, and when the movie arrives, perhaps some of us will come out of the movie with that perspective. I will say I've quite loved the previews and hope this movie nails it. Wish we could have seen it last summer as was scheduled, but COVID sucks. -
Does anyone remember the tweet about a modern day conservative being like a gambling addict playing the slots: all buildup, no payoff? I think it was in reference to Giuliani always having some bombshell lawsuit or discovery only for it to play like a wet fart in the wind. It'd be easier to find if the threads weren't merged; I can't even remember who tweeted it.

I introduced the trilogy to the lady, and she thoroughly enjoyed it, but TDK was definitely my favorite to watch with her because the Joker was legitimately scaring her. There was that scene where Bruce goes undercover during the funeral and finds those men stripped of their clothing because the Joker and his men took it so they could shoot Gordon. Before the reveal and before one of the men explained what happened, she pieced together what happened and then went, "Oh no...." Watching the movie again, the Joker's presence is near relentless. So good.
