  2. Bought this as a couples game and finally got around to it. We've really been enjoying it. Some of it is the goof-off stuff, like stealing the other's trophy or photobombing each other at the end. But I've been impressed that she's handling the controls well. It's not MGSV in-depth, but I still didn't know how she'd handle having more than a couple button inputs. It's been very easy for her to adapt, which may not have been the case for the original LBP since the controls were different. Dunno how long the game is, but we're in no rush. We're looking for secrets on the world map, exploring the worlds as best we can, and just having a good time. I'm happy there's online play, but it is really nice to have a couch co-op platformer to play from the get-go.
  3. I gotcha. But I'd like to remind people to not remind the media why they gave Trump such a platform in the first place. Hopefully people are far less humored by him than in 2015/2016.
  4. Just beat it. I've gone to it from time to time since it's easy to pick up and play. That final boss had a cool concept, I think. I loved the references, and now I'm heading to Youtube to get a list of them all since some I couldn't quite make out. If you enjoyed this, get Astro Bot: Rescue Mission on PSVR. I smiled from beginning to end during that game.
  5. I thought Dying Light was a lot of fun and look forward to the sequel. But it wasn't some abnormally huge game, and the sequel didn't seem to be that way either, so I wasn't expecting development to take this long. I'm guessing maybe they just had to scrap ideas long into development and start over with some of their ideas. It happens, I guess.
  6. Doesn't matter where they originated; they really are great. I wish there were higher quality versions. This is just the GOAT.
  7. This is an actual quote from the letter written to him: “Oh my, what a disappointment you are to us and to God! You have lost the respect of Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham and, most importantly...Mark Levin & Rush Limbaugh”
  8. If you already read this study when it released, then here's some life advice so this wasn't a waste of your time:
  9. I do think of Seinfeld every time I hear "We're living in a society!" but that's just me. I didn't see anything weird about the line.
  10. Give days gone some time. It’s not as polished, but it is quite the experience, especially the hordes which are some of my most memorable moments of last gen.
  11. Nobody really knows what will happen even one year from now. Let’s say at least the first part happens. Or this whole thing happens in totality. That would be many many years of being able to undo so much of the conservative sabotage to healthcare, and the ridiculous voting laws. Telling me how bad it’s going to be doesn’t really stick because has the party at all been improving in the past 10, 20, 30 years? Continuing being worse is always the expectation until proven otherwise IMO.
  12. I hear ya. It’s basically so you can avoid all of the weirdest negativity, Like George Lucas ruining childhoods and whatever the heck else.
  13. There is a subreddit that’s nothing but positivity in Star Wars, although there are critiques allowed. You may enjoy that if you ever want to talk Star Wars.
  14. Did anyone think they could have convicted, though? tbh this is a greater statement than I expected, and some here didn’t even expect Murkowski to vote yes IIRC.
  15. Can’t talk much atm (and I’m purposely extending the convo for Kal’s sake lol), but I found it to be very fun but also serious, same as ESB and ROTJ. It wasn’t constant sadness like Episode 3. And I loved all the characters. As a film, it succeeds. As Star Wars, it excels because the other best film, ESB, succeeds oddly because it’s nothing like ANH. It’s more serious, it’s darker, but it moves the characters and creates a compelling film even though it doesn’t have a ton of plot.
