  1. I mean, it was exactly as advertised. Deep dives into some PS4/PS5 games, no huge business acquisition moves. My thinking is that something like Horizon will get its own State of Play, similar to Ghost of Tsushima. So in that case, yeah, I didn't feel like my time was wasted unless you decided to get your hopes up for a PSVR2 reveal and a Metal Gear Solid remake.
  2. PlayStation Confirms Japan Studio Will be Re-Organized - IGN WWW.IGN.COM PlayStation is reportedly scaling back original game development at Japan Studio, the team behind Ape Escape and Gravity Rush. On one hand, Sony Japan was a unique part of Playstation Studios, and they brought some cool ideas to the table. On the other hand, there were rumors already that they would be scaled back because their games have not gained the kind of traction the rest of Playstation Studios have, plus the growth of the western market. tbh, my favorite stuff from Sony Japan that gets me genuinely excited has beem from Team ASOBI, and the fact that they're going to build on the popular of Astro's Playroom gets me VERY excited that Sony will back them for more Astro Bot VR, or another IP, or a bigger and zanier Astro Bot game.
  3. This article puts timestamps to key moments in the interrogation: 'His face was in your windshield, Jason': Ravnsborg videos provide more details about fatal crash WWW.ARGUSLEADER.COM In more than three hours of videotaped interviews, SD Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg answers investigators' questions.
  4. South Dakota AG Faces Impeachment, Calls To Resign Over New Evidence In Fatal Crash WWW.NPR.ORG Interrogation videos released Tuesday raise questions about Jason Ravnsborg's conduct in the Sept. 12 car crash, with investigators saying at one point that the victim's glasses were found in his car.
  5. I used gay as a way of saying "This sucks," when I was a teen. In fact, I think I used it into my early 20s because that's when one of close friends came out, and hhe was the one who weeded me off it because anytime I said it, he said, "Really? And how does this remind you of two men who are attracted to each other?!" And eventually it just got to the point when I realized that the entire reason we said "That's gay" was because the term 'gay' was negative. But at the time, the reasoning was usually, "I mean, of course I don't really mean gay when I say gay." I've been meaning to ask: when did you get back to Komusha?
  6. Nah guys, remember redsox said newt wasn't that influential
  7. I thought it was great, so if the Yuffie episode is also very good, I don't feel it would be a ripoff to purchase that considering the PS5 version is a free upgrade. But I also thought the Yuffie stuff was part of the upgrade.
  8. The Yuffie version needs to be purchased. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives on PS5 June 10, 2021 BLOG.PLAYSTATION.COM Visual optimizations, Photo Mode, and the new episode featuring Yuffie highlight this exciting enhanced and expanded version of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
  9. I was seriously shocked at how overblown it was. Basically, siege mode seemed really fun, so I thought, "Okay, I'll get the game, and if the grinding is too much at the end, then I'll just stop when I'm not having fun/ready to move to another game." So I started that endgame portion and I'm thinking, "Okay, Siege Mode is still fun [and I'm a Dynasty Warriors fan, so having better gameplay with that kind of manic army vs army gameplay + castle defenses was REALLY cool], so just go til you don't feel like playing." Before I knew it, the game ended. I checked to see if the ending I got wasn't the real ending, but it was. I think there were 10 stages in the end game, and at the time, I thought probably you could have completed 7 or 8 and felt as if that was enough story-wise, but that is such a far cry from what people were saying -- total grindfest and forced to buy microtransactions to win. It wasn't even "grinding" if we're defining it as killing enemies over and over so you can level and beat something; it was just an endgame where the story said you were defending against massive attacks, so you entered Siege Mode. I guess if you consider defending castles a lot to be "grinding," but I don't see much of a difference between fights in a castle and fights outside a castle in terms of repetition. Maybe they changed something with the microtransactions, but I never saw any indication that you had to buy something to complete the story.
  10. I guess they mean Siege Mode. I mean, there could have been maybe one or two fewer levels, but it's not, "Grind for 10 hours so you can beat Emerald Weapon." And Siege Mode is a damned fun mode.
  11. The event wasn't great since there wasn't much new expect for a PS5 version of FF7R with Yuffie, but they didn't really hype this as an event with bombshells, so I liked what I saw, I am looking forward to Returnal and Deathloop, and a free upgrade to FF7R is fantastic.
  12. So I'm disappointed there wasn't more info on Horizon, but perhaps that'll be its own State of Play. Glad to see some more Returnal before its release, Deathloop looks great, and free FF7 upgrade with Yuffie is aces!
  13. Free upgrade, saves transfer if you have the PS4 version, sweet!
  14. Next on Destruction AllStars: Featured Playlists, Challenge Series, and more BLOG.PLAYSTATION.COM Lucid Games details the future content for its car-based multiplayer battler Future content We’ve got a lot in store for all Destruction AllStars players as we move further into 2021. Some of this is kicking off next week with the addition of Mayhem 8v8 as a featured playlist. This is in direct response to community feedback, with plenty more on the way. We wanted to give you an early look at what you can expect over the next few months, along with a hint at our long term plans. February Double XP Weekend Genesis’ Challenge Series March Featured Playlist: Mayhem 8v8 (Playable in a party!**) Featured Playlist: Stockpile 4v4 Double XP Weekends Bluefang’s Challenge Series 10 New Skins April Featured Playlist: Carnado Solo Double XP Weekends A few more surprises… Challenges Series Back in the Destruction AllStars State of Play, we briefly touched on the Challenge Series and currencies you can earn during your AllStar career. We wanted to take the opportunity to do a deeper dive into this topic. Challenges Series are single-player experiences based around an AllStar and their Rival. It features cinematics at the start and the end in which you get to know a little bit more about your AllStars’ interpersonal relationships, and rivalries. Each event has additional challenges on top of their win conditions, giving you reasons to go back and play again for extra rewards. Challenge series contains: Crash Course: The ultimate time trial. Pass through gates in your vehicle or on foot, collecting time canisters along the way if you can to give yourself a time boost. See if you can get to the finish gate in time. Be aware though, your Rival and their team may make an appearance to try and wreck you before you can reach the finish line. Break Time: Smash all the Score Crates in the allotted time to win. You can smash them on foot or in any vehicle. Watch out for hazards in the arena that can slow you down though. Transporter: Think of it like an AllStar taxi service. Jump into a vehicle and pick up a passenger. Get them to their destination to drop them off and quickly grab another. If you drop off enough passengers before the time runs out you win. However, with hazards in the arena and your Rival and their team out to get you, your passenger will get the ride of their life. Top tip: Use the slam mechanic to give yourself a speed boost or avoid incoming attacks. Skirmish: You and your Rival are in a race to smash as many vehicles as possible. Whoever smashes the most wins. No draws here, you have to get more than your rival to win. A couple of top tips: Smashing your rival can earn you double points… just remember, they know smashing you will get them double points too! You should make sure to call in your hero vehicle ASAP to get an early lead on your Rival. Showdown: This is it. Your rival has been popping up through the series to put a spanner in the works. Now it’s just you and them. Well… almost. First you need to wreck your Rival’s team mates. When you do, then it’s down to one on one, Hero vehicle Vs Hero vehicle, on foot Vs on foot, whatever you do, or however you do it, just wreck them to win. Digital distribution As we’ve shifted the launch of Destruction AllStars into PlayStation Plus, we’re doing the same with the price. We’re thrilled to announce that Destruction AllStars will be available for digital purchase from April 6th for $19.99 / CDN$29.99 / €19.99. This is a great value, and helps ensure the mayhem will continue long after our PlayStation Plus promotion comes to an end. Of course if you’ve already added the game to your library, it’s yours to keep as long as you’re an active PlayStation Plus subscriber. They also have a Twitter account established for updates:
