When the dust settles and Trump is declared the winner in 24, everyone will be asking how Biden lost. It will be because Dems stayed home or voted for someone else (think West not Trump). Yet Biden really doesn’t deserve the flack he gets. Inflation can be attributed to Trump era Fed policy, covid, and fiscal policy. Biden appears to be getting inflation under control. He also got a large infrastructure bill and a climate bill through on thinnest Senate majority possible.

I’m not surprised that a generic undefined Dem had more support than Biden. That isn’t unusual given how unpopular he is with independents.

This is what I was referring to, along with the far left. Some of these voters could just say fuck it and vote West. It depends on what happens over the next 12 months. Edit: Trump is going to win regardless of this issue.

Absolutely Biden is better off being pro Israel. Biden is doing what he has to do given what’s happening. My point is Biden would have been better off if this wouldn’t have happened at all. I also agree that foreign policy rarely is what decides anything. I take back my previous statement, but maintain that this is not good for Biden.

I'm starting to think all this is making a President Trump a pretty sure thing. It is highlighting large rifts in the Democratic base and will demoralize a lot of voters. Trump and company will highlight the CHAOS under the Biden administration.

Biden is in a tough spot. I don't think he wants another issue to chip away at his popularity.

A more surgical approach seems like it would be a better than a full scale ground invasion from nearly every angle, but they seem committed.

I hold Israel to a higher standard too and expect better. My comment wasn’t saying those are the only two ways to think about this issue. It’s too complicated and there aren’t any apparent solutions that are realistic.

There are a lot of ways to think about this. For example, one way is to think about the consequences of each side's actions, such as the use of statistics about how many people are injured or killed on both sides. Usually these are presented to show that Israel is in the wrong since there are more casualties on the Palestinian side. Intent is another way to think about it. It's harder to pin this one down, but the point is often made that Israel is showing restraint since they have the capability to kill far greater numbers of people than they currently have been, but make efforts not to. It is argued then that if Hamas had the capabilities of Israel, they would commit far greater atrocities than we have seen Israel commit in recent years.

It's sitting at 27% positive on Steam right now. Ouch. It looks like most of the reviews I skimmed are complaining about unacceptable performance.

It’s disappointing. I was hoping performance would improve from the first one.

I've just kept the regular plan. The 4k premiums isn't worth it. Our living room TV is 1080p anyway. Our 4k TV makes 1080 look good enough.

I’m also considering Novavax this time.
