On one hand, genuinely shocked that they didn't pull the trigger on Rick and that's impressive. That said however, seeing what Scott Gimple had to say about their plans going forward...meh. Still though, what with the time jump and all, I'm intrigued where this all goes now with the introduction to the Whisperers. It does feel a bit refreshing when you lay it all out!

They're both great popcorn action flicks of their respective eras, I've always been on board for a 3rd and I'm glad they're going forward with it. While I won't necessarily be having high expectations for it, I'm sure I'll still enjoy the shit out of it and have a few laughs!

Just booked my VIP passes for C2E2 (never been to Chicago before!) Figured I'd share this for an information hub and for people to get together and try to meet up et al. Love you D1P!

I had watched the 2nd one SO much back in the day growing up on WPIX in October, I must have been 16 or 17 before I flipped on totally by random the original and that line in part 2 about it feeling like deja vu made SO much sense, it was a revelation!

RIP Also, Scream Factory just recently released a new Blu Ray release for Return of the Living Dead 2 with an all new transfer (2K) and commentary. Furthermore, the people that did "Crystal Lake Memories" also made a similar book about the making and behind the scenes of the RotLD franchise which is pretty spectacular!
