  1. I think I'm most of the way through Hellblade (just got the Sword back and did the beast trial). It reminds me a lot of Eternal Darkness, or what I'd expect a modern version of it to look like. It's a great game, but the narrative is a bit jumbled and relies too heavily on monologue. Though it's cool in the way its told. Glad I opted for headphones.
  2. For Honor Next-Gen Plan | Ubisoft (US) FORHONOR.UBISOFT.COM We share some important information regarding For Honor heading to next-generation consoles. Next-gen console players will be able to experience the highest-level of graphical enhancements that For Honor has to offer. These enhancements, carried over from the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro are now available, without compromises, on all next-gen consoles: Improved Water Reflections Improved Distance Level of Detail Improved Shadow Resolution Improved Texture Filtering 4k Resolution (Xbox Series X, PS5) / 1080p (Xbox Series S) 60fps on all next gen consoles For comparison, the Xbox One X ran For Honor at 1800p at 30fps. Wondering how the other Ubi launch games will stack up on the Series S now.
  3. That is true. But they offer a similar proposition for each console in compatibility and storage capacity. The added value of a faster drive correlates to how devs utilize it, which is still an open question for the PS5 in general at this point. No one should be buying one of these right now regardless. They're not going to be relevant until people actually start filling up the internal storage.
  4. Curious, what are your thoughts on the game itself?
  5. Spiderman DLC. It's all a bit too repetitive, though the same could be said for the main game. Still enjoyed my time with it. 8/10
  6. I'll get to Hellblade this month, sure.
  7. If only people would be as pissed about the input lag as character choices.
  8. It's true, no doubt. But I don't think that will lead to consumers being anti-ownership any time soon. Too many big titles out there that won't release day and date on GP.
  9. Epic money. Plus PC prices historically being slower to hike. This is basically it in a nutshell. Prices are going up. No one is getting shafted, games are finally getting inflation adjusted. If $70 is too rich today, $60 was definitely too much at the start of PS3/360 gen.
