We just saved the country. The vast majority of people in those industries, outside of team ownership, lean heavily the other way. I don't give a shit about the all-star game, but taking income away from people that didn't vote for this shit is misplaced. It does nothing more than fuel the right-wing persecution complex.

Yep. This isn't a novel concept. I've taken express trains from Poughkeepsie to NYC several times. They aren't nonstop, but it's still faster and cheaper than driving. -
Watching Michigan lose is always fun.

Atlanta is the only sophisticated city in the south. New Orleans is garbage. You're better off moving to Austin, San Antonio, Hilton Head, or Savanah. If you're in to college towns you could move to Athens. Lots of surprisingly high end restaurants, dope ass music scene, and you can rent a 4br house for a $1000/month.

Equilibrium. It's in regular rotation on HBO. I probably have it on once a month. I don't actively watch it every time, but it's on. -
My point is that putting a face to it, or several hundred, greatly diminishes the amount of work that will be needed to fix the problem. As long as we are fighting against individuals instead of hundreds of years of systemic bullshit nothing will ever get better. You can go after their wealth and power as much as you like. Nothing will change until you go after how they got there in the first place.

Immediately get stuck? I'm confused... -
"Great healthcare from day one" is hilarious. The facility that I work at is 90% part time. They offer VET (voluntary extra time) that almost everyone takes in order to get full time hours. Since we voluntarily take hours above schedule we don't qualify for healthcare. We do have access to a healthcare hotline. lol
