For some inexplicable reason, I have had the desire to keep the bloodline going. Of course, there really is no "bloodline" as my father isn't biologically related to his father but we do have his last name. And my Grandfather's blood related son only had a daughter so the name won't last there either. But I don't really see myself getting into any kind of relationship so any desires I have had in this regard have pretty much faded away. My younger brother is married but there is a slew of issues there so him having a kid gets unlikelier by the day. There there is all of the health related issues I could pass on from mental to physical and there is no world in which I am actually capable of raising children without them growing up to be deficient in some way. So, production hasn't even started and it most likely never will and it really shouldn't either.

Well, considering it is an 6-10 hour single player game I'm not sure that is the case.

There are a bunch of diverging paths and outcomes depending on how you politically align yourself in the game. This is not a video game I could ever enjoy playing from the game play to even the story, but as as spectator it was very enjoyable. I mean, the game is basically a series of interactive movies.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense then. This is really what I had thought of them. Or basically a Fantasy race unrelated to the race of men. I never knew people didn't view the 7 dwarves this way. As I never really saw Snow White the only insults I had picked up on were usually by using one of the 7 names, which I don't even know all of them.

I truly fail to understand what the issue is. Like I'm missing something. I get they are dwarves, but they seem to the the fantasy/folklore race rather than people with dwarfism. I mean, my Hunter in WoW was a dwarf. I'm not saying he's wrong, but that I don't get it. I'd understand if it was like some Oompa Loompa shit. Is it that they live in a cave? That they are all men? Would it be better if they lived in a normal village or something like Ironforge? Also, I have never really seen the original movie, but in my mind, I can't see what is different between them and LORT dwarves aside from them not being warriors.

There seems to be an emphasis on summoning help this time around. You could always use that help. Also, in these games, tower shields are a massive help. They can trivialize most required encounters. You could say they were made for people who aren't as good at dodging. They can make blocking into something almost as good as dodging. There is honestly nothing wrong with looking up where the closest 100% physical blocking tower shield is located and then farming out the souls needed to wield the shield. They usually require a good amount of strength. You could also pair magic with a tower shield. That way you have strong ranged attacks and great blocking capabilities.

If it makes you feel better I never liked him cuz of his SWTOR trolling. He basically did end up being right tho, which made me dislike him even more lmao. SWTOR was literally the reason I got a gaming PC. I saw those trailers and knew I had to get the game that had trailers that good. I mean, Dragon Age Origins had amazing trailers and that was great. I jumped the gun a little bit but it is not confirmed that anyone is using that RCE exploit 'cept for the person who found it and has been attempting to raise awareness of it so From will fix it. That is like only a day old exploit or something like that. But now that the idea of it is public it would be wise to play Dark Souls 3 offline at the moment and Elden Ring appears to be using the same framework or whatever you want to call it meaning that, unless fixed, Elden Ring will launch with that same exploit. Maybe it is a bit fear-mongery atm but it is something will happen eventually if it is never fixed.

Some of these more basic "hacks" have already been used in the console only Elden Ring network test.

The Dark Souls series notoriously has no cheat protection. "Hackers" are rampant in these games on PC. And the shit they can do can fuck up you character for good unless you have your saved backed up. They can flood your character with souls, curse you, and reduce your soul level and can soft ban you. Some of this stuff can be done on console but it is harder.

My only regret about getting this on PC (as I only have a ps4 pro and I want more than 30 frames) is that I will have to play offline. I love PvP but I don't want my saved to be borked.
