Anyhoo, how is the shareplay working out, haven't heard many impressions...I have no PSN friends to test with (up to try it out with someone here tho)

I used it with streamako a few days ago. It works really well. He and I played local coop in "How to Survive" and then he let me play GTA 5. Its pretty impressive.

FYI, Dragon Age:Inquisition is blocked as well. You can hear the sounds, I perform actions, but I saw a black screen the whole time.

I think that's actually a good selling point.

Cross-Buy and portability are appealing enough to me that for a lot of these games I an content to wait a little longer, and maybe even pay a little more, on Vita to get them. But even I don't think it's a particularly good idea to show off the system with an event that "announces" games coming to Vita that people can just go and play on Steam immediately if they look good to them.

People who live in glass Niggles shouldn't throw nancies!

I love Indies, too. And I am aware of the harsh reality. But if there's anything that Borderlands 2 showed us earlier this year it's that even a year old port, that's not even a particularly good port, moves the needle more then a lot of these Indies combined.

I talked about this in another thread recently.....it drives me nuts that fans have given up so much on the system that no one even seems to consider that a fucking price drop might help!

Sony currently has the most popular system on the planet right now, vying for best selling console of all time, and it likely already gaurenteed to be the market leader for the next 5+ years. How about lowering the frickin price on Vita and giving it a chance to survive?

Make a God of War for it. Make an Infamous game for it and pack it in for $150. Why not at least try to save the hardware?

haha. I'm ok with it, Nancy. :)

Yeah I don't totally disagree with your point, but I think, especially it being the handheld market, is a much more complicated issue than it seems. Either way, i'm enjoying it and I haven't gotten anyone riled up in awhile. :)

I enjoy the Indies more then most people, but the problem is a lack of Sony retail titles.

I mean, not to be a negative nancy, but why hold a special event to showcase games that, more often then not, people have been able to play for a year on Steam?

BECAUSE THEY CAN'T TAKE THEM WITH THEM. lol Think it's against the TOS if i call you "Nancy" from now on? I'm actually surprised they haven't canned the vita yet. lol It's not like they haven't tried, and it doesn't move the needle. At what point do you make out better to not invest more money. I think they've long since passed that. We vita faithful love the platform, but I think reality is setting in.

They would need to start making games for it again before they worry about the best way to present those games.

There's third party (mostly indie) stuff they can show. games are games regardless of who makes them. :)
