I disagreed then and I disagree now but I DO appreciate the conversation the movie started and I don't think alot of people realized how subversize some of the themes in the movie were, especially for a Marvel/Disney movie. The film essentially re-litigated the two different approaches to Black struggle for Civil rights while also exploring the relationship between African Americans and Black Africans and how that disconnect affects both. I always chuckled when I would read people's impressions of the movie and this would fly right over their heads.

I figured as much but I can't mention people  who don't have them if I don't know they don't have them.
