I am also fine with an end to the death penalty, because I know it doesn’t help anything, but its not on my list of important issues. This is a fucked up way to execute someone 2) The family of Lee's victim specifically asked that Lee not be executed, as this would bring their family more pain. Barr said the execution was to provide justice to the victims and their families.
